As the topic name suggests. I did some search, but found a similar topic related to RPGs only, this one is for all games.
Underrated as in: - Isn't talked about much - Not many people played it - People say it sucks - Low advertising / no advertising (you can post Indie games as well)
For me, it would be - Original War - I don't see, why people don't play this more. It has an awesome story, awesome gameplay, it's just totally awesome, get it!
+ Show Spoiler +
- Men of War - It's Company of Heroes, just 1000x times better. You don't build your base, but you have to use tactics more, and the environment is 99% destructable (Unlike CoH)
+ Show Spoiler +
- The Moon Project - How could I forget this one I bet none of you ever played it. It's a space RTS, where you can (iirc) combine some parts into units, build awesome bases, research stuff etc.

Gogo! And post pics, if possible

myth: the total codex - wonderful RTS focusing more on tactics and formations, with probably one of the most entertaining stories. I know some people on TL have played it, but otherwise I don't think it was insanely popular.
Torins Passage - First game I ever owned (got it when I was 5 or 6). Very fun to play, extremely interesting story. I still play it every now and then.
Total Annihilation: Kingdoms - Really fun RTS with a really unique style, especially when it came to the 4 different kingdoms you could be.

Vampires the Masquerade Bloodlines. I think it's generally seen as a very good game among the people who know it, but I don't think that many people have heard of it. The first two acts are absolutely brilliant, one of the best RPG experiences I've ever had. Unfortunately the game turns into a hack and slash in the later acts (I think they ran out of money or something), but the game's easily worth playing for the first two acts alone.
Amnesia. Not sure whether that really fits this thread as it's being talked about a lot on TL, but I hadn't heard of it outside of TL and it's an absolutely amazing game. By far the most scared I've ever been playing a game.

It is indeed a great game, same with VtM Redemption You might be intrested to know that the creaters of EVE Online have merges (I think) with White Wolf Entertainment and started development of World of Darkness, an MMO set in the Vampire: the Masquerade universe.

Close Combat: A Bridge Too Far. I played this game for hours on end, I basically had all the maps memorized. Its an ultra-tactical RTS game, with almost zero strategy elements. It was ridiculously hard, but yet really rewarding. I loved managing to hold off giant armies with just a mg42 2 shutzen(german infantry) units, 1 panther, and a mortar or two.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent
With so few horror games out there, this stands out like a lighthouse. Brilliant atmosphere and gameplay makes playing this game an unforgettable experience. Just do yourself a favour and dim the lights and put your headphones on.

Demon's Souls is a fantastic game. Game of the Year for 2009 in my opinion. Yes, it is unforgiving. No, it is not too hard. If you think the game is too hard then you are doing it wrong. Most people start the game and quit when they die to the first enemy's leap attack. Remember, side-step + back-stab for great justice.

dynasty warriors. favorite hack and slash game. Dynasty Warriors 6 was a bit of a disappointment though

Fallout 3 : Lots of ppl bash it but personnaly, it's the best release of the Fallout series Final Fantasy 12: same ^^
Ikaruga: I think not enough ppl played this game since it was released on the Dream cast, then the game cube. It's probably the best "Space shooter" (i don't know how you call this type, shoot 'em up?) I have ever played

KKND2: Krossfire is definitely my pick. An RTS from 1998 set in a post-apocalyptic future with human survivors, killer robots and mutants duking it out.

Dawn of War 1... Before they released the first Addon and destroyed all it's potential...

Valkyria Chronicles for the PS3 was overshadowed by a couple of games that came out around the same time it did itself. I loved the game very much, even if it was a little anime cliche. It still had amazing game play and the story wasn't totally awful.

Although your username makes you look like a 14 year old, i approve of your fantastic post. KKND was the shit!
My main pick would be Fallout new vegas, i've still heard people say it sucks horribly but i thought it was much better than fallout 3 which was a disaster compared to the previous releases.
Oh, and i also think oblivion is awesome. (not liking the main quest though)

Earth 2160,amazing RTS sadly known to a small amount of people.
