I'm pretty sure that BW's goon range upgrade is much stronger than it was in vanilla. And yes the build time were also much faster when bw was first released. Edit : Patch 1.04 (basically, the change that bw introduced) Dragoon: - Decreased cost to 125 minerals, 50 gas. - Decreased build time. - Increased range upgrade (Singularity Charge) by 1. The build time was increased back by 1.08

50% faster larvae spawn rate. hatchery only cost 50 more spawning pool 150 Hence it actually made a LOT of sense not to slap down the extra hatchery as early as now. you could still pump decently from 1 hatch, and the faster tech really hurt a protoss for instance since archons was extremely sluggish and had low acceleration when moving, and cannons did explosive damage. Only 10 against mutas that is :O. But generally, people built far too few hatcheries, gateways, factories etc. But also remember that factories were like 250/150 or something...

That was a typo! I even checked the score before writing since I was sure zileas won ;D

I remember hearing something abotu someone using a namespoof on testies name or something, which explained why there was no instance of him hacking since 1.07, then all of a sudden 1 game in 1.09 where it shows him hacking, and then no instance of him hacking since. Also "Testie"(dunno if it was him or not) did some cheese bunker shit, and Eri went fast cars, and hten testie just pumped like 5 rax of marines, and made no medics. So it could have been on vanilla SC. Thats all I remember about it. Oh, and OB1 and OB2 were in the game.

Look harder. It wasn't released in 1997, the copyright and release date posted by blizzard has been wrong for years. Not that I expect you to actually look for it. EDIT: Specifically, it was released March 30 1998. How you could have owned the game in 1997 when the beta signups started on January 5th is beyond me.. and it would appear I messed up the beta date. Either way, check up your facts.
