Actually, no!
Legend of the Spring!
Every year in Spring-time, a TvZ final (bar one, 2004, Hangame), has always occured where a Terran would emerge victorious
2001: Hanbit (BoxeR) 2002: N/A 2003: Olympus (XellOs) 2004: N/A 2005: IOPS (NaDa) 2006: Shinhan (oov) 2007: Daum (Iris?) Daum is a SUMMER season And July beat GoodFriend in summer 2005 iirc 99 Progamer Korea Open - (Z)Freemura > (Z)bOy 99/00 Hanaro Communication Tooniverse - (R)Grrrr... > (Z)H.O.T. Fa 00 Freechal Open - (P)Garimto > (ZP)Skelton Sp 01 Hanbitsoft - (T)BoxeR > (Z)Jinnam Su 01 Coca-Cola - (T)BoxeR > (Z)YellOw Fa 01 SKY 1 - (P)Garimto > (T)BoxeR Su 02 NATE - (T)Sync > (Z)H.O.T. Fa 02 SKY 2 - (P)Reach > (T)BoxeR Wi 02 Panasonic - (T)NaDa > (Z)ChOJJa Sp 03 Olympus - (T)XellOs > (Z)YellOw Fa 03 Mycube - (P)Kingdom > (P)Nal_rA Sp 04 NHN Hangame - (P)Nal_rA > (P)ZeuS Su 04 Gillette - (Z)July > (P)Reach Fa 04 Ever 1 - (T)iloveoov > (T)BoxeR Sp 05 IOPS - (T)NaDa > (Z)July Su 05 Ever 2 - (Z)July > (T)GooDFrienD Fa 05 So1 - (P)Anytime > (T)BoxeR Sp 06 Shinhan Bank - (T)iloveoov > (Z)July Su 06 Shinhan Bank Season 1 - (T)Casy > (Z)ChOJJa Fa 06 Shinhan Bank Season 2 - (T)NaDa > (P)Anytime Wi 07 Shinhan Bank Season 3 - (Z)sAviOr > (T)NaDa It's obvious that the next piece is obviously Spring. It's obvious there are 4 natural seasons in a year, and only 3 league seasons in the same time span
Tell me how Summer goes directly after Winter then? It makes no logical sense, so it has to be Spring because it goes Summer -> Fall -> Winter -> Spring

I hope Flash wins this and then goes on to win the finals (longshot) just because as the royal raoder it's the most exciting and dramatic. Iris or GGplay on the same wall as Savior and Nada and Boxer seems kinda...out of place to me =O Iris will fit among them exactly. Sure, he has not a lot of funs and wasn't recognized as top player before epic semifinal with sAviOr but it isn't like he hasn't skills before and popped out of nowhere.
Iris was in top 10 of Kespa rankings almost whole 2006 year In fact, he hasn't went below 10 place since last march. He was there when big names dropped to unreasonable low ranks. But this is rather for Flash's funs who think he would have a chance against Iris.

Good series. I just finished watching it. I'd like to share some thoughts. Flash won his two games with good timing rushes. +1 atk Super Marines + 3rd base Timing rush and Fast Tank Push on Hitch Hiker (go figure, HH = harder for T as the game goes on)
Game one was dismissible because it was inevitable maphack game !!!! Games two and three were nice timing rushes. Game 4, while people talk about how Flash coulda done this and that.... Really what it comes down to for me is that GGplay went 3 hatch no pool and Flash didn't see. Then the fast lair came which obviously is muta, and when Flash was opening up to hit the bottom base, instead of mutas, ling harass came.. It was just really beautiful play by GGplay. Truly GG worthy.
Game 5 was utter rape. Sure Flash went 14CC and tried to play well, but when the Mutas came, his unit positioning was really off, he lost a lot and killed off so few mutas. 5+ Scvs Turrets and 5+ Marines in the initial swoop itself I think? After that, Xenosky is sooo far away that it's hard to hit.
And hitting Nostalgian through the bridges is LOL right.. cuz swarm is so not imba on bridges.
Overall, while the results were close, I thought it was pretty apparent who the vastly superior player was.
This will be awesome though. Iris is a monster timing attacker, and GGPlay seemed to lose to only Flash's two big timing attacks.... O this OSL Finals is gonna be GREAT.
Plus.... Hanbit needs a champion since HOT. ROFL, Fuckin HOT was the last champion Hanbit had.
GOOOOOOO HANBIT.

although Iris is good and pretty consistent as of late, and it took down the so called best Z and P vs T, i really want GGPlay to win the finals. It just feels good when a zerg kills a macro terran and plays good. And Iris is good at losing
The most hype i actually got, was in game 1. I really couldn't believe a game was thrown like that.

Jong, when did H.O.T EVER win anything major :D?
Grrr vs H.O.T, Grrr beats him 3-2 H.O.T vs Sync, Sync beats him 3-1 H.O.T vs NaDa, nada beats him (I forget score)..
Etc.
I mean, ok, he probably won something WAY back, but h.o.t and major modern leagues is like yellow +_+

That's why Hanbit needs a win WAYYY more. This is the first Hanbit finalist since HOT yo. GGPlay carries Hanbit's 2 man Zerg legacy. HOT and GGplay.
LOL ~_~
But props to FLash. He was sweating really hard and gave all he had I'm pretty sure. Also, he can only really get better from here on out. Improve his late game and he will be mighty.

GGPLAY YESSSS
Oh god, I've been hyping this guy for so long, defending him against the likes of Mana (), now AT LAST he manages to breakthrough.
Unless he manages to find a solution to his timing push weakness, I'm afraid he'll get flattened by Iris though...

Hell Yeah, GGPLAY, it's about time!

Its just me or links to the videos dont work ?

Thanks for letting me win my vote GGplaya 8-D

No it's not just you. They download very slow or not at all. Have all our usual enthousiastic torrent uploaders had enough? Perhaps it was too good to be true there a while

O yeah, Reach wore a hanbit uniform once. I forgot about that ~_~ GG

glad ggplay won but imo it wasnt that good of a serie..

I thought it was an exciting series, almost as good as the Savior/Iris one last season (though last game nowhere near as close). So happy that GGplay won because he really deserves it and we get a ZvT final However much as I'd like GGplay to win the final I'd put money on Iris probably just because his form has been incredibly consistent recently and he looks so determined. Plus having Savior as a practice partner.. I think some of Savior's killer instinct has rubbed off on him. I hope GGplay puts up a good fight anyway. 3-0 would suck.

Didnt hot win one of the GhemTV leagues(I think there were 2 or 3). Could be wrong, he was def in the top 4 of them twice though. amazing considering how insanely gay the maps were for Zerg.
Sort of major for its time, if im not wrong and he actually won one: [
