he probably queued his scv to mine the mineral wall after the depot finished building with the intention of sending it back to mine his main mineral line so that he would gain a little extra minerals for it, but he ended up forgetting about it and in the end all it cost him the game

Both TvZ and PvZ are great, but TvZ just has the most suspense so I enjoy watching it moreso. Every time the zerg player has new tech, it's a huge deal, while the unpredictability of when the terran will attack just leaves you on the edge of your seat. The perfect TvZ games go like the last two of this series went. There is no room for passive play, and even when units aren't dying there is a whole lot of intensity. The true beauty is really in the thin thin line that decides the battles though. The units just play off of each other so well, and are all so fragile - unit control and perfect spell use mean the world.

And its the first time, THE FIRST this season that it happen, ALL the Bo5 sets until now did absolutely NOTHING to me, it was pathetic I was so incredibly disappointed, compaing to last season that I couldn't even sleep before a semi-finals from the weight of the drama and the game quality that was going on, I felt like this season was rotten. Yes, for me this really was the first time this season felt like it should have from the very beginning of semis. Hell, its about time :-) I agree 100%, and after the first couple games I remained pessimistic about how good a series this would be. I'm really glad we ended up with some great games, though, and will get to have a non-mirror final (between two of the most underrated players, as we've said in the past)!

I have to root for Iris now just because it seems like such a shame if he beats Savior and can't take it all. I can understand your feelings. I agree mostly, but when you think about it worked out pretty well. I mean Iris vs Stork were really nothing to discuss. Even if you rooted for Stork you can't say he should win. Iris steamrolled him. Iris vs Savior was close as usual, but it seems fair Iris won this time. On the other hand it sucks to have the only great zerg gone so early, BUT then we have this GGPlay who fucking owns and cleans up all those terrans, just like savior did. This was not how I or anyone else predicted, but I totally think both of them deserves the final spots and I was entertained with all their games (maybe not Iris vs Stork, but that is hardly Iris's fault). Maybe Nada vs Savior sounds better, but that is just... stupid whine. Why care about the names? Nada is nothing compared to Iris right now.

But if Iris is able to eliminate a zerg like Savior even though he is his teammate how is GGplay going to stand a chance? Because GGPlay has showed through out his career that he has one of the best ZvT's in all of progaming, and has definetely shown stints where he was even scarier that Savior's ZvT. His ZvP on the other hand needs more work, while Savior's doesn't.

I don't think Savior vs Iris's games deserve much credits, they are of pretty normal level. Especially when you compare them with what GGplay did vs Hwasin and this kid

After all my fav players got kicked out of osl and msl i never expected to be hyped. But this semifinal had it. 2. GGPlay's ~10 unhatched eggs draw oooooo's and ahhhhh's from croud as they guess on what they were... first time, they were just zerglings, but second time ultras pop out and crowd went WILD... such gold moments... So true. This is how you observe & comment a game to get the crowd. After all i have to say TvT final < TvZ final. Don't get me wrong, i like tvt, but for a tvt final i need a line up with more background to be hyped (boxer, ovv, you know..). I'm still kinda dissapointed how everything turned out. But in the end the better player has to win of course. More boxer, more nada, more oov, more july. more savior, more reach...maybe next time. Allways kinda hurts when players with such personalities drop out. I mean imagine a iris holding up a starleague trophy...hmm.. Still, congrats to ggplay. I hope these two finalists can give us a show WORTH a STARLEAGUE FINAL.

Oh well. I guess it was expecting too much from the few games that we actually saw from Flash and just wanting him to win so badly to be a record-breaking royal road performance. Next season~

I mean imagine a iris holding up a starleague trophy...hmm.. . Iris holding a trophy would be about fucking time. He is probably the best terran right now. Kill Stork 3-0 with a times push without exp is pretty awesome job. Do you think oov could do that? Maybe, but he wouldn't try. He would fastexp and turtle for 10 minutes like in every other game he plays Ok no whine on the legends, I'm just saying Iris has proven himself in every single matchup. He was known for maybe the strongest TvT around before and now he killed Savior and the PvT king Stork. No one deserves this more than him. GGPlay on the other hand... The only zerg besides Savior that actually seems extremly confident against any terran out there. The more I think about it the more hyped i get. I can't pick who to cheer for
