The Khan team spent most of today larking about when they weren't focusing on their matches- it was great fun to photograph. I have some really nice shots from the fan meeting which I'll post when I go back home on Monday.

By the way, you might have written it in a previous thread so sorry if you did, but what kind of cam/lens are you using for these pics? The sharpness and blur (no idea what the proper English term is) in these are pretty good so I'm guessing it's got a very strong zoom? Very nice pics =) Can't wait to see the rest!

Thanks ^^ I'm practising hard. I use a Nikon D40X with a Sigma EX lens currently. I like it alot, but I'm hoping to upgrade to something even nicer in the near future.

Yep - it's pretty good except under certain lighting conditions. It loves the coloured spotlights they use at Kart Rider ^^ And since I got a decent camera and the players began to get used to me they've been more willing to pose without provocation which is wonderful.

Got some pics somewhere in the General forum Edit: Could you post some of those Kart Rider pics? Or PM them or something, I'm curious about the spotlights

Or PM them or something, I'm curious about the spotlights *nods* Thanks. I've recieved alot of help from my supervisor here who is in a camera club himself. I'm not too experienced shooting with DSLR, but I think the key is definitely a mixture of practice and finding a lens which suits your enviroment. So good luck ^^ And I have posted some on my blog here - I'll probably post some of the new ones from today on Monday night. I need to send them off to my Nexon contact first though so she can choose which ones to put on the KR homepage.
