I wonder if they really set up a lot of cool intricate stuff, or if they simply are letting these things build on themselves with random contributers.

So why would they purposely give clues, or hints, in any shape or form that could potentially allow the cat to be let out of the bag? They wouldn't. They're just having fun with the people here, because they can read this thread, they know what you're thinking, and they can see just how giddy and school-girlish everyone gets at even the slightest "clue", whether it's a "clue" that they created or one that's completely unintentional and just wrong. I don't think that this is really any sort of revelation or anything, but the point is, if you wanna do some detective work and figure out whatever it is that they're planning, wouldn't it make more sense to do it where the admins CAN'T see what you're coming up with? With the way people are responding to everything here, even if someone actually happened to discover the big secret, the admins could easily just post some random "clue" or something and completely throw everyone off-track again. I'm sure they'd get a big kick out of that, as they've already had quite a few laughs at the expense of some members. I mean, it's great that everyone's getting so excited and are working to try to figure out the secret, but it seems a bit odd how serious some people are getting about it, considering everything in my last 3 paragraphs should be fairly common knowledge. Why is that? Seems like it's just a big waste of energy and a lot of people are getting toyed with unnecessarily. Whatever the case, it's an interesting read.

I mean, if we give the admins here a little bit of credit (which I think most people have no problem with doing), we can assume that they have no intention of letting whatever they're planning get discovered, if it's anything anyone should remotely care about at least. Given TL's history, then they probably expect people to care. At least a little. of course we cant force information but even hints are more than we have now, and we gain no benefit from interpreting secretly, since the next step isnt provided until the first is discovered
