on topic: i second what stimey said. this goes especially for the strategy forum. i think it's pretty lame when the strategy forum on one of the biggest community forums of the best RTS game ever, is 80% oneliners like "lol", "that's bullshit you moron", "build goons ffs" or something similar. in most topics there is no discussion, but only stating of opinions at best. (that's my impression at least)

more posts keep a thread going, although you could argue that fluff one-line posts really keep it afloat for no reason. i dunno, i don't think there's really a way to get these long discussions going.

Anyway, I say it's just a result of more people here at tl.net than there used to be. Our hits per day has steadily increased and so more people are here to dilute the heavy big-posters.

Our hits per day has steadily increased and so more people are here to dilute the heavy big-posters. i understand your desire to protect tl.net, but like it or not it's become a pillar of the community. i assume you guys never intended this site to carry a huge part of the sc community on it's back, and yet that is the current state. tl.net staff seems to go out of its way to make new posters feel like unwelcome guests, what do you expect from us? remove the register button if you truly can't stand the change in the wind edit: i realize i'm being bold, but this whole superiority-based-on-posts ideology rankles me
