Well I mean it's easy to say so when it works, but the (somewhat) recent history of the german national team has a quite a few examples that go against what you are suggesting. Klose always delivered for germany even when he was underwhelming at club level, and Sane on the other hand severely underperformed compared to club level for years.

I mean, it is the game that brought Kroos back...

Klose was never out of form for his clubs - he just didnt deliver the same level as the national team. Also Klose was world class for Germany, only crazy people didnt want him to play

Despite Mexican fans racist chants having officials pause the game twice. Enough is enough. FIFA needs to ban the Mexican national team from having any fans. Nor hosting any WC games.

Again? Sigh… The chanting was disappointing to hear of too!

Does fifa not care on the American continent?

Let's see how they do vs Netherlands and without beeing one up after 8 seconds before we come to conclusions please. I'm not yet convinced

Haha Germany are always hit or miss during friendlies, just like we are during the actual euros or wc. So even with a great or terrible result, I don't think it will mean much.

Plus the fans would just buy tickets to the border state games like LA or Houston/DFW and continue their chanting there.

Germany used to be always good in tournaments...

England looked totally lost in and just outside the box. Lose all their width and suddenly wonder why they cant get a clean shot with 7 defenders in front of them. The times they looked the best was when they actually found Gomez on the wing where he slotted some good crosses into the box that weren't converted. Their actual ball movement and passing skills are sublime which I expect with that much talent on the squad. But boy do they need to work on their final third.

Georgia, Ukraine, Poland are in.

Well, looks like we are actually getting somewhere. The only "out of place" player right now beeing Gündogan is a bit difficult as he is also the captain

Yeah I am sure Nagelsmann regrets Flick's decision to appoint Gundogan as captain. He had no choice but to keep him as captain and now he has to start him

Exactly. I haven't seen any Barca games recently so I'm not sure if this just a current dip in form or if he is just in general lost in this new German squad

Yeah same with Liverpool sadly. I think he's gonna stay then head off to Real Madrid after. Hoping we get Amorin now...

Of all options he potentially has, Bayern showed that they are not the best place for any coach right now as long as the old management doesnt hand over.

Sterling with an incredible miss

I will keep repeating it but I was the only one predicting Tuchel failing at Bayern
