"I've always loved the Razer Goliathus. It's the mat I've been playing on for over a year now, and I've never felt the need to switch. I hope everyone enjoys using it as much as I do!
And to be honest, everything looks more awesome with the TL Logo on it."

NOTICE: The mousemats are back in stock!
The wait is finally over. We proudly present the Razer Goliathus Team Liquid Edition – one of the world's best pro-gaming mouse mats, now bearing the mark of one of the world's best pro-gaming teams.
Razer has been a great sponsor to Liquid since we started working together last May, and we've wanted to develop a product together for quite some time. We never put the Liquid name behind anything unless it's something we believe in, and the Team Liquid edition of the Razer Goliathus is something we completely support. It's a mouse mat of the highest quality, and it incorporates the aesthetic of the TeamLiquid logo seamelessly. It's taken a while to get the details just right, but the final product is every bit as amazing as we could have imagined.
"Razer is dedicated to supporting e-Sports, so we designed with some of the best teams in the world to get their logos on the Razer Goliathus mats - personalized editions they can use with pride during tournaments."
- Robert "RazerGuy" Krakoff President, Razer USA
Our players have always been the pickiest and harshest critics. For instance, Jinro did meticulous research on Razer's line of mice before finally deciding the Deathadder was the right one for him. Naturally, the Goliathus had to get our players' mark of approval, and it passed with flying colors. TLO was already a long time user of the Goliathus before we started this project with Razer, and HerO became an instant convert when we gave him a prototype just before DreamHack Winter 2011. Sheth decided to give the Goliathus a try a few weeks ago, and so far, it looks like he's become a believer.
The Goliathus is a cloth based 'soft' mat, as opposed to 'hard' pads made from plastic or metal. Soft surfaces offer more resistance than hard ones, meaning they allow for better mouse control at the price of speed. The Team Liquid edition of the Goliathus is the Speed model of the Goliathus, a version Razer developed to allow for the fastest movements possible, while also retaining the fine control capabilities characteristic of soft surfaces. It's a balance that Sheth, TLO, and HerO really enjoy, and we think many of you will as well.
The Razer Goliathus Team Liquid Edtion is available in medium size, with dimensions of 355mm x 254mm x 3mm (14" x 10" x 0.12").

Razer has supplied us with an initial batch of 850 Goliathus Team Liquid Editions. Though we will be receiving another batch of 1000 more in the near future, it is likely this batch will sell out quickly. We will be sure to inform our fans of future batches, but it is possible the Team Liquid Edition Goliathus will not always be in stock.
"I had been using hard mouse pads in the past, but the Goliathus really impressed me and convinced me to switch. I had been a bit unsure about what the perfect sensitivity for my mouse was, but I was able to find just the right setting using the Goliathus. It's a small difference, but I feel like I'm getting the most out of my mouse."
- Shawn "Sheth" Simon
"The first time I used the Razer Goliathus Team Liquid edition was when I won Dreamhack Winter 2011. I have been using it for a while now and I really like how it feels. I’m proud and happy we get to share it with our fans."
- Song "HerO" Hyeon Deok
It's rare to get a chance to work with a sponsor so closely, and we feel that the combination of our two brands in one product shows how close this sponsorship has brought us together. We loved the outcome of our collaboration on the Team Liquid Goliathus, and we hope that we can keep working with Razer to bring our fans more great products in the future.
*Pin and keycap not to scale.
One more thing. As long as we're stamping our logo onto things, why not a couple more items? TeamLiquid pins and TeamLiquid keycaps are now also available in the TeamLiquid store.
Unlike the Goliathus, we can't say these have much practical use. However, they will prove that you have an insanely good sense of fashion.
The keycaps are meant for mechanical keyboards with Cherry MX switches, so make sure you own a compatible keyboard before you purchase any keycaps. Shipping on the pins and keycaps is free when combined with an order of any other item from the store, with a maximum of five pins/keycaps per order. If you want to buy the pins or keycaps separately from other store products, the shipping is as follows:

No thanks.
It's the same for basically everything, I think a big factor aswell might be higher tax rates in EU than in US though, and not only that they like charging more of europeans.
The TL key cap is compatible with any mechanical keyboard that uses Cherry MX switches, this includes the Razer Blackwidow and Steelseries 6gv2 / 7G amongst others. You can tell by popping off one of your key caps and seeing if the switch looks like this (only do this if you have a mechanical keyboard, dome keyboards are not meant to have replaceable keys!):
Certainly one of the nicer looking Team Branded mousemats out there, a lot of them can be a bit garish but this one is nice. If I wasnt so satisfied with my current mat I might consider it tbh
Bought a pad instantly. The price and shipping is pretty reasonable; if I consider the sheer amount of stuff that comes out of TL and how much I use the site?
Fucking bargain. It just makes me feel good not only having this sort of stuff, but then knowing the money is actually going to use, to push ahead and be invested in something I sincerely care about.
So the Europe option is only for "Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Spain." ?
So since I live in Sweden I should use the US + World option? Or maybe it doesn't matter at all I just want to make sure I'm not doing this wrong...
the design looks really nice, but when you can get a steelseries mousemat for half the price here in UK i could never justify paying £18 for one 0_o but you never know, maybe the quality is incredible
For those quibbling about the shipping costs to us in EU (not about the conversion rate): Try shipping things from the US, it's not fucking cheap.
I had 2 TL-Shirts shipped internally inside the US and then shipped to me. FedEx and UPS wanted around $70. The cheapest option? USPS, they offer to do it for around $20 I think but that's unsigned and I have no fucking idea when it'll actually reach me in England.
I sincerely doubt they have any option of reselling in EU. I mean, Razer is sending them a shipment of pads, to TL. TL as we know is a pretty fucking small operation. Unless they then shipped, on bulk, an estimated order to a person in EU to then send on, how on earth would they be able to do it? Use your heads.
I absolutely love the mouse pad. I won't buy it though. PayPal is a terrible way to buy things in my opinion as a first reason. Second, the shippung is really really expensive. Also, yay für $ = €. Too expensive for a mouse pad as all these things add up too much. Add a good EU store and you will probably sell a lot more...
I currently use a steelseries qck mousepad, but I'm thinking of getting this since the all black qck gets dirty really easily. Can anyone with a Goliathus mousepad tell me how easily the thing attracts dirt, and how easy it is to clean?

How is paypal bad? It takes 2 clicks and you're done. Much easier than re-entering CC and billing info.

a) You cannot get a paypal account yourself if you are not 18. A lot of the people here are not. b) Paypal takes a small fee for everything. A direct bank transfer is a lot easier in my opinion.
Seems incredibly silly that I in Denmark, a country practically part of the Eurozone by virtue of our currency being locked to the Euro, have to buy an US edition and pay shipping to Europe
Bought one instantly, even though I know that I have a superior mousepad already, and like all gaming products it is 30% more expensive than the same item in America, even though the Aus dollar is stronger than USD thanks TL
Awesome :D But unfortunately the mousepad wont fit on my desk.. I use one of those pully out things that sits under the desk for my keyboard and mouse.
But I may buy a pin and keycap.. but where to place it on my blackwidow?? himm.. Maybe T? for TL
well , its better for Europeans to have someone make a big order and then ship it from Europe to other Europeans who ordered in the group buy.. i completely agree that 12 euros for a 2 euro Keycap is expensive , but we should help teamliquid , because they give much more to us than us to them...
Such a shame, would order immediately, but I'm using the Control version of the goliathus, and you're selling the Speed version. Is there any1 who has experience with both and can tell me how different they are?
Hmm $42 bucks for a mousepad is a tad much, especially considering I don't even use a mousepad. I think the definition of impulsive behaviour is me, despite that reasoning, ordering one anyway

Does anyone know if this will be able on amazon (uk) within the near future? Free shipping when order total is above 25 £ saves a lot of money compared to 16 € shipping :/
OMG, mousepad looks amazing, can't wait till I get it. AND I get the price in dollars since, Poland is not in Eurozone, trololololololo
im very interested in that pad but can anyone tell me why Czech republic isnt in the Eurozone? (btw it lies between germany, poland, slovakia and austria...

You're not Eurozone! Pick world you silly Swedes.
Thats a ton of shipping money then. Why don't you put it on amazon? Also, why $ = €?
Well if you ever ship from EU and € does not equal $ prize, let me know.
Looks good though, cannot wait for the time where I can finally buy that stuff and not cringe every time I see the prize + shipping costs. Well, until the next time :D

Not sure what you mean with ton of shipping money "then", Sweden does pay international shipping same as Eurozone countries.
if there were keycaps with drones and zerglings on it, I would consider buying those to replace my "d" and "z" keys.
Why does the mousepad cost 19.99 Euro instead of roughly 15 Euro? Europeans sadly have to pay 6,50$ more, which is almost 30% extra. I would understand it if Razer only sells stuff in the States and the extra costs come from shipping fees, but they already have very good distribution channels all over europe. So that can`t be the reason. Anyways, it is good looking merchandise and 20 Euros isn`t over the top.
edit: ok I just found out it is additional 11,30 Euros for shipping. 31,30 Euro (ca. 41,50$) for a mousepad seems overpriced.

It is very rarely the case. And that'Äs stupid, in my opinion. I would have to pay 41 US-Dollar for a mousepad. I realyl love TL and the pad, but thats just too expensive

Just bought the mousepad and keycap Should go nicely with my TL poster an SC2 Cinematic poster! Excited to see the cap on my Blackwidow, and pad under my deathadder :D:D:D
Is it possible to get a black and silver version of the mouse pad? I would really love to buy one but the blue does not necessary match the color scheme of my setup. Black is also a very common color for computer parts.
hm i usually use hard pads and been doing so for many years now.. but that's just amazing looking i need to have that Guess it's time to google reviews of the pad before i buy it!

Yes, because I won't be able to buy it because I think the shipping prices and the usd = euro price comparison is stupid. I do understand it's not TL's fault though, I just wanted to express my anger about that and apreciate the production of it at the same time (as I did, if you read my posts).

Just ordered mine, even though the shipping cost to Belgium is indeed quite steep! The sheer awesomeness and the fact that i'm helping the greatest sc2team around however, was enough to convince me!
So glad I was able to pick this sweet thing up, unlike the shirts where I missed them before they sold out. Nothing says classy on the level of TL merch!

No worries I think your concerns are completely justified. For the pricing we can't undercut Razer and as a major international company they also have legitimate reasons for their pricing structure. For our own shirts and such we can decide ourselves.
As for shipping that's also a serious concern, it simply is very expensive outside of NA. If at a point we're large and experienced enough to be able to set up storage in Europe we will.
Why is there a limit on the keycaps?! What if I want to replace every single key on my board with THAT?! Speaking of which, that would be a cool new item you guys should sell.
"Don't miss the cool ship, get on board...with.. THE Liquid Board!"

FML!
Because we're richer than europeans, we all eat caviar and wear top hats.
Heads up for British people, this is over the import tax limit (minimum is £15, it'd be under the limit if we got charged the same as the US ), so you'll get charged VAT + £8 Royal Mail handling fee, so total cost for it is about £40.
Not to discourage people from buying it, I'm still ordering one, it looks awesome, but it's a nasty pile of charges on top if you're not expecting it.
I tried a lot of mousepads and after I got a Goliathus I knew my mouse wouldn't ever touch anything else again. Too bad theres is no mousesports Goliathus but if you are a liquid fan and are looking for a mousepad there is absolutly no way arround this.
On March 09 2012 02:15 Chromodoris wrote: "However, they will prove that you have an insanely good sense of fashion." I assume TLO has had a say in the design?
I've been waiting for this mousepad since I've had the need for a new one the last months, so happy that it's finally here. Looks awesome!
Keycap is very tempting... I wonder which Liquid player will be baller enough to go into a tournament with their entire keyboard pimped out with TL keys.
R1CH, any idea when paypal will be able to fix the errors showing up for several of us trying to buy? Is this just because the heavy use of the payment system right now?
Shipping to Belgium looks to be $1 cheaper for the pad itself through the razer site. Belgium is just where I know an address for, so that's why I'm using it as a general example.
Now I live in the USA, plan on buying one of each of their new things, and will buy it through TL directly because I imagine that benefits them more than buying through razer directly. International shipping (especially the courier that Razer is using directly, DHL Express) is tremendously expensive, and frankly a bitch to coordinate. Obviously I don't think any of you who wont be purchasing these items because of the shipping believe it's the fault of TL that the shipping costs are high, but simply understand that this isn't something that they can adjust and still offer these products at anything less than a loss on each item.
As someone who works in International Shipping, I appreciate that TL is doing their best to facilitate the shipments and transactions with the vast majority of their fans, and I hope they do get big enough to be able to offer the same discounts a large company like razer is able to in the future.
As for the mousepad I tried a friend's Razer Goliathus and the quality of the pad was quite poor and shoddy compared to my Artisan mousepad but then again the Razer is half the price...I think I'll pick one up anyway and just keep it in the box for novelty reasons though just like a keycap. :D

Not getting any errors here, so I can't say what the problem is or whether it will be fixed.

these all look really nice especially the mat, but sadly its really expensive IMO, with the euro price plus almost as much shipping. what is impossible for me to understand is why you can only buy one mousemat. my friends and i might have bought three or four together to avoid shipping a bit, but like that its just no offer.
I bought one right away to support TL (would've paid the shipping just for the keycap :D ). Size of the mat is the same as the Goliathus Medium which is still plenty large for non-fps, low sensitivity players.
I just bought an Artisan Hayate too but I could use a spare mousepad and get to support TL too.

What are the errors you're getting?
None now, must of just been a fluke because of heavy traffic. Order is confirmed and on the way now. Hurraaaaaay
Why is there a limit on 5 pins per order? I was actually trying to buy 40+...
And how much sense does it make to charge $3 shipping for a $3.45 pin? and an extra $2 for each additional pin? These are the local shipping rates to the US.
I don't want to be forced to buy other merc to avoid the seemingly-exessive shipping costs...
What I don't understand.. You guys from TL are all a lot in the US (MLG IPL) Why doesn't Nazgul TLO Ret just grab a bunch of shirts pads etc and voila, no 25$ shipping costs....
Anyone know if there is a way to update an order I have placed to add a pad to it with the current shipping? or if this is possible. I ordered a three pack of shirts a few days ago. Not sure if they ship from one place though. doesn't sound like they do
The mousepad looks very good but recently I bought a steelseries mousepad that I'm really enjoying it. Also, my previous mousepad was used for about 14 years (hell. I still have it lol) so I expect to the steelseries one to last at least the same...^^

Because we got alot of razer products in our pc Hardware stores. It doesnt work from the razer site as well (no surprise here). I am really disappointed this time
To everyone blessed with the opportunity to order it, HF with it - it looks awesome!
I've been thinking about buying the Razer Goliathus for some time and this made me actually do it, combined with supporting Team Liquid. Great day, shipping is problematic, but well, life goes on.
As we all know its more important to look good than to feel good! With these insanely good sense of fasion items that is no longer a problem as they do both :D! ♥TL
Are you planning to do a line of mousepads with Razer for those who dont like cloth pads as well? A Razer Scarab with the Spirit pony on it would probably instantly get me into SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY mode.
I bought just a pin. I think when I can make some pocket money this summer, I will look into getting that beautiful mousepad. For now, I will settle with toting around with a pin that will separate me from the rest of the world. Mwahahaha!
It looks like the blue part would glow in the dark. That would be freaking awesome, along with other Razor products that glow blue in the dark, like BW Keyboard and some of their mice.
quick question for the european people....how does much a coke cost in europe? around 1 euro? how much does it cost in the us?? around 1 dollar? companies don't drastically change the prices of their product to reflect current exchange rates...the point of this is sale is to support team liquid
That's a beautiful mousepad. I have a Goliathus (Control edition) and love it. I'm interested in the TL Speed version, but unfortunately I don't have room for a Medium sized one on my layout.
Bought the mousepad it looked to sexy. Plus ive been using the same old one since 2006 so i can justify a 28$ with shipping purchase.
To all the people complaining about the euro to usd transfer, just stop it. Its not like 20 dollars to us is chump change compared to you. Im sure we make less money than you do anyway, whats minimum wage there? bet its not 7.15
EU = 26,50$ + 5$ shipping = 31,50§ US = 19,99$ + 3$ shipping = 22,99$ _________ 8,51$ So I have to pay about 40% more to get the same item. Sad T_T

Anyone knows the difference between buying from TL.net and directly from razer? because from where I'm from , its WAY cheaper (Shipping wise) to get it from the razer website.
Already bought one, got several of my friends to buy one for themselves, and continuing to spread the words around... I've been waiting for this for a loooong time
The funny thing is that I love all these products. I love the shirts, I love the keyboard buttons, the pins, and the mousepad etc etc... But I wish other teams would make this stuff!! I'm not a huge liquid fan, but if they keep making awesome stuff I might have to wear their swag at least.
I guess with that shipping fee it's from america? Then Europeans will have to pay import fee aswell... Meh mousepad and keys would be cool but not with that shipping cost....
Looks pretty sweet. I actually need a new mouse and mousepad... This could be an option. I'll check out shipping prices tomorrow. I wonder how fast they'll be all sold out
For a person living in the Uk this ends up costing $43 or £27, charging almost the same price for P&P as for the mat itself is a joke, doing a quick google search, i can get the same mousemat for £8 P&P included. I would like to support you TeamLiquid but i'm not paying the same price as a new game for a mousemat.
Damn, I've been waiting for this for a couple years now lol. Been using a really beat up piece of crap mouse pad since then haha. This couldn't have come at a better time for me :-) Thanks Team Liquid, keep up your awesomeness.

Same for me, been waiting for this to come by after having the same mat for five or six years now. Needless to say my old mat is rather... unpleasant.
Hmmm, about the free gift people are talking about, I'm not sure. I ordered my pad at about 1:30pm EST which is well before other people are saying they got theirs and I don't see anything about getting a free gift on my order. Not sure how it's determined. Oh, and if it matters I'm in Florida.

Omg, i was going to check out and suddenly it only let's me pick 1 keycap, try again to buy 2 and they are sold out... will the be more soon? Want to buy the mousepad before it is sold out but I would rather buy everything in one shipping...
Very cool indeed, does somebody knows how it works for shipment to the UK? Just got the TeamLiquid tee and had to pay extra £12 shipment to collect it may be worth it for that but dont know for a pin...

No problem! I'll probably end up buying 4, for W A S D keys, wouldn't feel right wasting it on ESC never using it. Not sure though.. having just one at the ESC button is classy on the other hand! Decisions decisions......
I'm totally getting some of those key caps.I the E button on my black widow is fading from building too many probes. Might order the mousepad to use as a backup in the future.

I'm pretty sure those keycaps are only ment to be on the top row. Every row has different heights + Isnt black widow low profile keys ? And the most standard mechs are medium profile keys
I have a feeling some people ordered like 10 of these
isnt there no possibility to order 2 mousepads with one order ? shiiping to austria is pretty high (15$) and by ordering 2 at the same time me and friend could save some money.
Prices feel a bit unfair (LAWLS I just paid 30 euros for a mouse mat ^^), but man that thing looks sweet! Also, I can't stop wondering what my free gift will be?! I hope it comes with some micro, because mine sucks!! Big bummer the keycaps sold out DURING my order!
After the first run of keycaps, they were going for 23 USD a cap. I thought that was too steep of a price, so I decided to wait. Turns out I ended up getting more for the same price! They'll go very well with the rest of my keycaps:
(sorry for the blurry pic)
For those asking in this thread, the TL keycaps are ABS doubleshots. Compatible with the top two rows of the keyboard only; putting them anywhere else will mess with the profile of the keys.
Were the mouse pads ever available from Razer's site? Because they say that they are sold out of them. But we can buy them from the TL store right now....
Ordered a pin, always wanted one ever since I saw them at the MLG's.
I just don't understand, why isn't this stuff ever being produced appropriate quantities? You can't actualy say you don't see these things selling out. I know all things aren't controllable but I'm sure things could be organized a bit better somewhere...
i think i got the last 1 :D went to buy it and it had the wrong credit card selected and when i went back said it was sold out so i back'd a few times and got it again winning <3
I was considering it earlier today and I procrastinated...I should have got it then. Guess I'll have to wait, it will be worth the wait, it looks amazing!
Razer, I know you're reading this thread. Even though TL didnt win that Razer Team contest, you should still give them a mouse. It would obviously sell pretty well
Are they going to make more of these? Also do the key caps work on a QSENN black keyboard the progamers use with the korean characters on them? (that's the keyboard I have, I forget the exact model name)
Really happy for TL that they sold out as it'll probably mean they'll do another run, sad for myself that they sold out before I could get one because they look totally kick ass
WTF Sold out already? The site went down for me and I couldn't get one. FUCK EDIT: nevermind it was a site error, they're still around :D EDIT2: Wait, ok maybe them not being sold out was an error, because now they are sold out again
Just putting it out there tl, if you were to make windows key replacement instead of a regular square keycap replacement I'd probably get one. Just my thoughts, no big deal. <3
Oh my god, I've been hunting the thread talking about this for months, checking razer's site constantly, and waiting to throw my money at my screen. So then it gets released about 20 minutes after I go to sleep and is sold out well before I wake up. I REALLY need a new mousepad and was holding out for this one, but another restock could be so long away
Little warning to those ordering in the TL Store from outside North America (primarily Europe I guess):
Commercial items like these purchased abroad are subject to import value-added tax (VAT) in various countries (19% in Germany) if they exceed a certain small amount (22 EUR for Germany). Customs also usually makes no distinction between actual item value and shipping costs. The total amount will be taxed (as per Paypal statement or other which you need to provide customs with, if the shipment gets caught).
So say you live in Germany and order the Goliathus Liquid mouse mat from the TL Store (based in the United States) for 19.99 EUR (~$26.51 USD) plus the international shipping cost of an additional $15 USD (~11.31 EUR) for a total amount of ~31.30 EUR (~$41.51 USD) as advertised. You then will be taxed for an additional ~5.95 EUR (~$7.89 USD) due to 19% import VAT. In the end you will have paid ~37.25 EUR (~$49.40 USD) plus had the hassle to go to your local customs office to pay and retrieve it while providing your payment statements (printout of Paypal e-mail usually).
I had to deal with this when I ordered the Liquid horse logo 3-pack shirts from the TL store at the end of last year. After a month I had a nice little notice from the local customs office in my mailbox. I wrote about all of it here: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewpost.php?post_id=13411357
Razer is an international company and thus has various EU online stores (through eu.razerzone.com) where the Goliathus Liquid mouse mat is also offered for the same price. Apparently, the product is currently out of stock there but looks to be restocked soon (you can leave your e-mail address to be notified). The major benefit here for most Europeans is that shipments within the EU are not subject to import VAT. Also, shipping time is vastly reduced (a few days) and shipment costs tend to be lower (with DHL Express as little as 5 EUR for Germany, 7.90 EUR for Spain, Italy, France -- full list and info here: http://www.razerzone.com/shipping-guide/?locale=de_DE).
For those wondering what the TL Gift (which they seem to have run out of by now) will be, here is a little clue... + Show Spoiler +
Dont even need a new mousepad, have a puretrak talent (coL version) and was gonna buy this. In fact I was so pumped and I hit Mousepads and saw the sold out =(
anyone else notice that the logo on the keycaps is different than the actual TL logo (i.e. no mouth, oddly shaped head)? I saw a comparison with these caps vs a higher-quality blue-on-white cap on another website and was just wondering why TL decided to use these ones vs the more accurately designed ones...
On March 09 2012 09:16 Xivsa wrote: When does the next batch of 1k mousepads mentioned in the OP go on sale?
Hopefully not 3 months. I really don't understand why TL always underestimates how many people want to buy TL stuff. Every batch of team shirts sells out within 3 hours, and they make those thousands at a time.

It's actually good marketing. If I sell an item that's going to be hot in limited quantities, then more people are prone to impulse buy because they don't want to have to wait for the next batch. Nintendo did this with the Wii and the games for it, and they still do it for their other products. With regards to the team shirts, Kennigit was interviewed and said that they release them in limited quantities because it takes several months to actually make them. Which is why they are changing the shirt design.

Signature Plastics are the ones who made the "official" TL keycaps. The keycap design was part of a group buy over at GH a few months back. I assume the huge anonymous order made back then was for the keycaps that you are seeing here now. SP is and no longer will be making keycaps that infringe on copyrights, which is why the TL and race keycaps are well sought-after and carry a large price and value.
The ones on the right are made from a vendor named imsto, who is based in China. You need to send him the design and he will have them custom-made for you, albeit at a higher price than what is being offered for the TL caps. They are PBT dye-sub caps, which are of much higher quality than the ABS keycaps, at least in my opinion.

The difference is the white keycaps are pad printed (They just put on a sticker) while I think the tl keycap is double shot (two separate plastic molds). Basically, the white keycaps will wear down over time and fade out while the tl blue keycap never will. Something to consider.

If I got those white keycaps with Blizzard logos I'd put them on keys I never use just to look at them.
Do those prices include shipping? Because I was interested in the mouse mat until I saw the price, 19.99 US does not equal 29.99 AUD. I mean come on the exchange rate atm is 1 U.S. dollar = 0.93 AUD thats just a rip off.

the white key caps are not pad printed -_- they're most likely dye-subbed like what sawedust said, so they dont rub off like pad printed keys...
i bought a keycap and I dont even own a mechanical keyboard yet >.> I'm going to buy one soon, but I wanted to make sure that I had one :D I do think that they should come out with the white keycap later on too.
^ +1 I didnt bother to look at the sizes would like the larger one as well so I'll either keep this one or re sell it. I play FPS to so I'll have to look at it to see if it will fit my all around play style or not. Still glad to support TL and this is a awesome looking mousepad. Might just use it at work.

Really sad the key caps are sold out. With free shipping with my mouse pad I would of bought one for sure. I didn't want to risk them selling out of the mouse pads though, I have been waiting on getting a decent mouse pad since I saw the prototype.
Free Gift as well. No doubt it will be awesome

Hmm, TeamLiquid cuff-links would be very nice, especially seeing as Sheth is a member of the Liquid gaming team these days (and would look smashing in a suit with TL cuff-links).
Also, I have no interest in buying a TL mousepad (not even keen on mousepads), but I have to agree that it's utter BS that we would have to pay so much more when our currency is stronger.
Ordered my mousemat and a pin, Altough I think the shipping costs are a little out proposition, I think it's nothing more then reasonable to buy these products because: a) Support teamLiquid and all their volunteers for their endless efforts for the community b) Support razer for their support for the Starcraft community and making the eSport dream a possibility for so many c) He looks neat!!!!
Can we get any official word about the keycaps? Even if you don't know exactly when they are going to be restocked, can you let us know if it'll be any time soon (ie. within 2 weeks) or if it's going to be months?
I was about to order the mouse pad but then I saw the shipping was $9... it can b sent for nearly free via envelope... would love to get one though as soon as the shipping is reasonable.
I ordered one. I have used Razer mousepads before but I have never actually brought a Razer product before. I figured this is as good a time as ever ^_^ plus I loved my old Goliathus so I assume I will love this one.

Denmark not part of the eurozone ? wtf.

Hopefully this can clear up some of the confusion regarding which European countries belong to the Eurozone and which do not: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eurozone
I really wanted the mousepad since I saw it. But seriously around 42$ with shipping for a mousepad? That's way too much. If we could pay it in Euros it would be alright.
I had to change all my security stuff on paypal, and I have an open "dispute or claim"... all because "the other party didn't respond". This being Team Liquid. IDK if this has something to do with the email I got saying my order wouldn't be sent for a couple days, but that was a pain in the ass. :/
I'm sad, Danish tax rules and the fact that the mats ship from the US, means that it might cost me twice as much. Almost 400kr. is too much for a mousemat. Sadly.
But when TL opens a warehouse in EU, I'll be there with my best Fry impression.
Really nice lookin' Mousepad but to small for me. I'd liked a 444mm x 350mm one, as well. But seriously USD = EUR ?? Guys with shipping costs 15$ it would be nice if , at least, the pad would be a bit cheaper for us here over in Europe.
That said, again: it is really looking awesome!! would love to have one here geez
i really would have liked to buy one, but sadly the shipping to europe is higher than the price itself, and even though the 42$ are propably worth it , its just too expensive for a mousemat. BTW the 1:1 conversion USD to € is also quite questionable.

This basically. It looks so nice though TT. Wanted to order with a mate so we could split the shipping costs, but since that's not an option i guess i'll wait.

We do, but I have bought 3 items from the US and it has never been stopped. What I've heard is that they stop all big packages and some small slip through. Otherwise I think you have to pay something like 25% of the product but I'm not sure.

Apparently, TL did not arbitrarily choose these prices. It is the prices mandated by Razer, as you will find in their various respective online stores around the world. So criticism about the disparities in prices should be directed at Razer (there is a contact e-mail in the op post, by the way).
What strikes me as odd here though -- and unfortunately TL did not sufficiently address this in the opening post -- is that, even though Razer provided TL with a certain quantity of products by sending said products to TLHQ in the United States to be sold and shipped from there, different prices in different currencies for various countries still apply? All the products purchased through the TL store are sold and shipped from the same place to the world and thus should all be priced in USD and everyone should thus be billed the same price (i.e. the $19.99 USD as advertised for the U.S.).
If the former assumption is not true, i.e. the products are not actually sent by TL from the United States but instead by and from the various Razer stores around the world with different prices and different currencies, then I am afraid TL (and Razer I guess) did not sufficiently make this clear. And if that is truly the case, why then do people have to pay more in shipping costs than when buying the same product from the Razer online store in their respective country?
Be that as it may: Seeing as a lot of people here have on impulse ordered one or more products right away even though they could barely afford it, please take note of import value-added tax (VAT) that may be applicable in your country of residence other than the United States (and I guess Canada) which you will have to pay on top of what you already paid. I posted a little warning about it earlier in this thread (which you should consider if you're on a tight budget already): http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewpost.php?post_id=13841041
Tempted to get one (I already own the Razer Goliathus, but this one is TL!), but why so much more expensive for Aussies? Aussie dollar is worth more than the US dollar, yet we get slugged an extra $10, meaning we will pay ~USD$32.50?
I don't understand why this isn't the same price for every Team Liquid fanboy (and girl).
I wanted to order 4 mats for me and my friends yet i can only buy one per order.
Disappointing to say the least... First you charge me higher prices then for Americans, then you ask an outrageous amount of money to ship and then i can't even buy more then 1 per order.

I am really glad that, the mousemat's are back in stock. The only thing is that your webshop only supports, PayPal, which i simply do not have (and it takes too much time with verifying to create it now). Now i knew that before they also sold them in the RazerStore, where I for example can pay with IDEAL. But I just checked and the Razer Store still syas that the mouse mats are out of stock.. Will they also get back in their stock? because I really want one, but just simply don't have paypal to pay at your shop...

It looks nice but since I've had a Razer Goliathus I can safely say they tear pretty fast. It looks nice and sexy but the goliathus is shit and I can't help but feeling TLO and Sheth lied about the mat just to give it positive reviews since it's the TL version, if you had a TL version of the razer scarab I'd buy that.
Got mine, I've never paid $30 for a mousepad (including shipping), but this is one i had to have. I could've got it for $20 with free shipping on Amazon, but no sweet TL logo. I'll pay the extra $8-9 shipping for that logo.

Steelseries SX set me back like 70$ and rescued me from carpal tunnel. So I guess it actually saved me a few millions in the long run ;-)
Ps. It is the best I have ever seen/used with a big margin btw.

Not sure what you're talking about. The current exchange rate USD to EUR is $1.31 USD = 1 EUR. The inverse is 1 EUR = 0.76 EUR. And that has been the case for quite some time.

You have to buy the US/World edition since Poland does not have Euro. It was the same for me (but sweden).

Is it possible to get a high resolution image of the mousemat design for us to use as our iPad and Desktop backgrounds?
This. Shame i ordered the t-shirt pack the day before they announced the mousemat. I'd make another order if the mat was in LARGE but for now i will wait.
I cant stop thinking about the keycap. There better be a big order of them soon. Also, why is shipping per keycap? They weigh nothing, you'd think sending 5 or sending 1 would be the same cost, not $15 more.

Still doesn't change the fact that pricing is retarded.
I've had bunch of stuff (that weight x10-100) delivered from amazon with priority UPS and it costed ~12$. That's ~12$ for an item being delivered from US to my doorstep within 48h or so.
Gimme Amazons business accounts by UPS and it will be possible. Or we can just have 10 000 orders a day and set an account ourselves.
Try sending a pair a shoes to your pen friend in Australia with UPS priority and see how much will it cost. I know everyones used to fast cheap and reliable shipping from amazon nowadays, and I really hate how our conditions look compared to that, but its not realistic to compete with Amazon for us as far as shipping goes

This x 1000. That's just the way the real world works. Do you really think the folks at TL are laughing maniacally to themselves while they are charging so much for S&H? It is so much because it just is.

Buy Razer products or go away with your tail between your legs
I have the Blackwidow Ultimate and it's freakin awesome. Best keyboard i've ever had and it's super sexy. Also got a Razer Deathadder and a Razer Vespula.
On March 12 2012 06:10 Za7oX wrote: Will the key caps fit a BlackWidow Ultimate?
AFAIK all versions of blackwidow use Cherry MX switches and they said that the key caps were for keyboards using Cherry MX switches so I would think so.
R1CH wrote: The TL key cap is compatible with any mechanical keyboard that uses Cherry MX switches, this includes the Razer Blackwidow and Steelseries 6gv2 / 7G amongst others. Of course I can't say if that's the only gift or if there can be something else.

I don't undestand: I wanted to buy 2 mousepad but I can't get two in one order... My friend and I wanted to cut down shipping fees, but 35€ for a mouse pad is too mutch... if you want to put a limit on numeber to avoid mass ordering go for a small number like 3 or 5, so friends can order toghether. I get that they will sell them nonetheless, but... >:-|

Thank you for the quick and gentle answer but... isn't it a bit un-organized commercial wise? I don't mean to be rude or what, just a temliquid fan doing some feedback: when I saw the TL mousepad I thought "COOL, I'M GETTING THIS!!!" (caps are real stuff here) and now
"ow... no. shipping. togheter. oh my god, why?"
I don't know what are your condition and obviosly you're going to sell them anyway given the limited amount and the coolness of having one of those, but i suppose selling them faster/better it's a factor for you and your commercial partner to decide wheather or not to get more or to plan new stuff.

I got another email from razer, with a tracking number from dhl, after that it was here after 2 days ( including Sunday) in Holland. I did order through razer though. Not sure about the liquid shop
Looks incredible, hopefully TL ships pretty fast as well would love to get it this week. I know everyone is spoiled by sites like Amazon and Newegg with 2 day free shipping, but I still can hope.
Turns out the packages were over the limit for First Class Mail by USPS so we decided to ship with Priority Mail instead. You aren't the only one! I hate buying things online because I have issues with waiting for the things I buy . I just wish I had a slight idea of how the order is going
So is TL actually going to make more keycaps or what? Any estimate on restock time?
Geekhack seems to think that TL bought 50 keycaps from their group buy and that the only keys TL sold were those 50 keys. I really hope that TL makes more, mechanical keyboards have been booming since Starcraft 2 came out. Tons of companies jumped into the mechanical keyboard business over the past year, indicating strong demand, so there should be a lot of people out there who can use the TL keycap.

I can't even use the force to get the remote from the other side of the couch, so I'm far away from transatlantic deliveries
Checked the German/EU Razer online store today and the Goliathus TL mouse mat was back in stock. Ordered it there, shipping was more than 5 EUR (almost 10 EUR), but it will arrive in only a few days (unlike over a month for trans-Atlantic) and 19% import VAT does not apply. Good times.
Also sent mails to Razer expressing my displeasure at the conversation rates, the high shipping costs, and the subpar implementation and translation of their online store. One mail already bounced. -- Razer, oh Razer...

Razer store i guess.
I ordered mine at tuesday and today i checked where it's at and it's already in Sweden and on it's way to my door.
But im sure that some people who ordered from TL.net got their mousepad quick aswell. There's probably more people ordering it from TL.net wich means they have alot of orders to deal with. The Razer store might not be under as heavy pressure as TL.net's store is and im sure Razer has much more drones to carry out the mission of packing all those sweet mousepads. So i guess it's a worker issue ^_^
Razer has a bigger economy and better macro (no offence TL)

So i purchased the Team Liquid Goliathus mousemat... my shipment order stated that it was sent with a free gift, however when i recieved the package there was no gift. Also the box that was holding the mousemat (not the shipment box) was opened and the mousemat was a bit unravelled. I am very happy with the mat though =)

I haven't been this giddy to receive something in the mail in quite some time.
I also brought the Steelseries QCK (with the SC2 maruader on it) mouse pad recently and the surface material pretty much feels the same. However I really dig the black border that the TL mousepad has because the QCK mousepad doesn't have it and is alreadly fraying a little at the edges even though I've used it for less than a month.

Same here, but R1CH said that international tracking doesn't really work properly so i wouldn't worry about it yet.
Got mine now It's beaaauuuuuuutiiiiiiiiiifuuuuuuuuuuuuuuul <3
Gotta say DHL is shit though. Won't go into details here because i've been way too upset and need to just calm down now and enjoy my new sweet teamliquid mousepad.
All i can say for the moment is that DHL likes to lie (covering up their mistakes).
Got mine today and have to say it looks very cool and feels great! Also got the horse-logo keycap and some cool stickers as a free gift. I was already going to complain about no free gift even though the package slip said so but turns out they were hidden under one of the flaps in the cardboard box :D
Just wanted to drop a line saying I finally got my mouse pad, keycap and pin and tell all other who are considering buying these that they all look better than in the pics imo (: the key cap has a little dent like in the pic, but over all it's way cooler than i thought it will be (: the pin is abit bigger and also looks great and the pad not only looks cool but is very comfortable and feels right. I did have to adjust my sensitivity a little like expected. the seams around the pad are actually way more helpfull than I thought as It's more comfortable for me while I'm working (not gaming) and somtime I rest my wrist on the table and pad when doing slow movement and not I dont have ichy marks after a long session of working (:
edit: oh and the sticker went right on my phone I'm not even such a huge TL fan, I like them(/you guys) but there are teams I like more, it's just the TL horse is so sexy <3

I finally got an email today that my orders have been put on hold for some reason. I emailed them back telling them what was up and confirming my address and all that. I hope it gets shipped soon. Love TL!

Same here. I haven't had any word from PayPal or any shipping company. Is there any announcement or issue with the delayed orders?
I got an email saying these were back in stock from Razer, but after checking the website like Elbee, it still says out of stock. Accidental email or what's happening?

It took so long to deliver? They are out of stock for like a month. I also wonder if there will be more of them, I would love to have one, please Teamliquid let us know.
You guys really need to give an ETA on this stuff, iirc there was just a random news post with the Jerseys back in stock with no warning as to it coming back in stock!
When will be the restock? Its been ages but no news.. Y taking so long to produce these mats? I need one so badly now for my new spectre mouse arggghhh
Yeah, it's very unfortunate. I'm considering to get another mouse mat now as I can't wait for much longer. It'll be cool to have it, but the shortage this long and no more news is just too much.
Guys the teamliquid mouse mat has been restock (at least for asia region people like me, i dont know about other region) i had placed my order! check it out!
I wanted a TL mat for a long time but it was out of stock so I hit auto-notify. I got the email and it was 3 minutes sitting in my inbox till I noticed and clicked the link and its still sold out are they trolling me?

Where do you sign up for automatic notification of when they are back in stock? I don't see anything under the product page in the TL store. I have been checking periodically to see if its back in stock since the first batch were announced. Apparently I missed the second batch as well. I also really want a TL keycap but haven't heard anything about whether or not those will even be for sale again.

you can do that from the razer website but it doesn't always work, it worked once for me for the tiamat but never for the tl goliathus, I've been waiting for months to buy one :p
So just to clarify after reading last few pages in this thread. Is the TL mouse pad in stock atm? Doesn't say anything in the store. Want to know before I purchase.
I'm getting a new mouse pad, and the first place I looked was here. Sad to see that these are out of stock. I would've loved to have one. One of the coolest designs for a mouse pad IMO.
