Okey, I was told in the chat today that there is something wrong with WMP11. I uninstalled it and, yeah, it finally works! : D Both MBC stream at sc2.org and the http://www.mbcgame.co.kr/VOD/Live_player.asp# stream. So obviously IE 7 didnt have anything to do with it, at least.
... But I found it quite funny how there is this banner on the start page that recommends WMP11 xD

This website rox, the live chat next to the streams is a great touch.
EDIT:
WTF!!! Filters on the live chat, I can't even type the word ASS!!!
EDIT EDIT:
For some reason you can type asshole, but not ass, hehe.

without sc2 we would have no way to watch pro broodwar
ilovecats is a savior and amazing
why don't you figure out a solution instead of questioning his methods, it worked for a lot of people so obviously it isn't a huge problem

i really really hope we get this back because the Live! streams worked flawlessly for me but the P2P's lag like hell and i have not been able to enjoy much starcraft since the Live! streams were removed.

one of the problems was that even people who could use p2p used the direct stream. killing the goose that layed the golden eggs i think.

Yes, the mass people that got on the site, even if they could watch the p2p stream would watch the direct one because it was like 30 seconds faster, and all the people watching the non p2p stream was costing way to much so he removed them. (I think)

How to open SC2.org streams in an external tvants-player as a Firefox/Operauser: Login and go to the page where you normally would watch the OGN/MBC stream. But of course firefox and opera show only the OGN/MBC buttons, but no video.
Then paste the following javascript to your url-bar:
javascript:open(document.getElementById('player').getElementsByTagName('param').item(1).getAttribute('value')) Then a securty dialog pops up asking you to confirm the opening of the tvants link with an external application. Alow this and you can watch the stream.
You can also add this script to your bookmarks.
