Are you telling me you wouldn't be a little cocky if you were in that spot? On top of that, these players barely show any emotion when winning/loosing. can you imagine a westerner winning OSL finals? id be backflipping across the stage with a shit eating grin across my face. Id have my shirt half ripped off swinging it around and probably grab the announcer trying to interview me with a big sweaty hug.... The whole nature of this game is winning for ego. Dont confuse confidence with arrogance thats just me though :p. hahah, well said. i liked the imagery of a non korean winner don't know if i would go that far if i won, but i'd certainly be smiling like crazy pumping my fist in the air! this topic is now about what you would do if you won the osl post!

He says that he "definitely won't lose" at the start of the match. Then he "definitely will have his revenge" later. Good confidence, but lots of arrogance as well.

Arrogance may be annoying, but false modesty is downright dishonest and fucking patronizing. This kid is the fucking REAL DEAL. He's dominating the scene like no one has since Boxer in 2000-2001. Pay your respects and realize that a player like this isn't going to come again very soon. Like Muhammad Ali said, "It ain't bragging if you can do it." Thanks, I hate people who say Savior is arrogant because he is not. He is clearly the dominant player so I don't see how even reffering himself has the dominant player would be bad (he doesn't do it anyhow).

I don't think Savior or Nada are arrogant. They're just confident in their abilities. I'm sure Nada believes that in a rematch he could beat Savior. This series was no blow-out Nada looked good, just made a couple of mistakes. And Savior is the guy to beat right now, so he should be sure of himself. Professional Starcraft is probably one of the most mental/emotionally taxing jobs out there. If these guys don't maintain their confidence they end up slumping bad.

Good confidence, but lots of arrogance as well. I forget when and where this happened but I remember Boxer being called arrogant and a show-off. This was a fair while ago. It was in an offline qualifier when Boxer's tank drops were pwning. He beat a player and said something like "Did you see how fast those tanks came? You didn't expect them to come that fast!" and apparently insulted (not assaulted!) the other player. Then everyone went around saying how boxer is a bm show-off. Face it, IPXZerg is not the crowd favourite, but he should (at least) get respect. I mean, to me, GoRush and Savior are one and the same. They are BOTH very oldschool. They both SLUMPED and went "off the map" for a FEW years and both came back stronger and MORE RESOLUTE than ever. So why so much hate on Savior? I think it's bcoz he's never been in the spotlight before and now he's "burst" onto the scene. Which has f*cked up the flow a little bit as people expected the Nada/Anytime steamroller to continue.

MM Fluke on Blitz = Nothx. Savior shoulda 3-0'd him. Lucky lucky Nada... and if I just 3-0'd the OSL champ, I'd be cocky as all hell too.

I'm not sure about how old Savior is, but the guy has never been "off the map" so far. He needed a few months before being able to display his skills but he has only gotten better since then. And my guess is that, just like Nada and Oov, he won't have a slump before winning an OSL.
