Live to Win CIS Power Roster On their newly created VK page, Live To Win, some of the best CIS player announced they would be playing together under this new name starting in November. With an image of Zeus that was rival “Clash of the Titans”, the new roster will consist of Akbar "SoNNeikO" Butaevmm Alexander "Immersion" Khmelevskoy, Vasily "AfterLife" Shishki, Rostislav "fn" Lozovoy, Igor "iLTW" Filatov. Gleb "FeelMyPain" Antokhin will also be joining the roster as their team Manager.
Live to Win Logo SoNNeikO's last major success came from being the captain of Ninjas in Pyjamas, up until he was swiftly kicked from the organization by upper management, along with Curtis Coffin, their team manager. Immersion was part of the Team Spirit that was able to make their way to the WePlay! Bukovel Minor 2020, only to be later picked up by Navi, until they sent that roster inactive to pick up FlyToMoon instead. AfterLife saw his greatest success under the Gambit Esports banner from later 2018 until the end of 2019, for which afterwards he headed did brief stints at Winstrike Team, Team Spirit, and finally EXTREMUM, where he currently sits benched. Fn comes from VP.Prodigy, where he was able to place second at the WePlay! Pushka League, and 3rd at the ESL One Birmingham 2020 – Online: Europe & CIS, both times losing the unbeatable Team Secret. Lastly iLTW, the most successful of the group had been playing Virtus.pro as a replacement for Cooman, where he won ESL One Los Angeles 2020 – Online: Europe & CIS, and Parimatch League Season 3.

I like this stack! Was about time we see a stacked CIS team again.
But this means both VP teams are in shambles right now? Will they combine both teams? Or is this the end for VP as a Dota Organisation? Would be a shame!
|
I thought it was another stack from CiS that is rumored. Ramzes 1, Sumail 2 & NoOne 3. Not sure about supports. I like this stack.
|
@Sapaio If that is true, then they are idiots....i mean, sumail had a short stint as on offlaner, ramzes had a longer stint as offlaner...conclusion: let's have noone be offlaner....because fuck logic. Would make most sense to have sumail offlane because noone and ramzes have been 1-2 pair for a long time and would have an easy time pairing cores, splitting farm etc.
|
To be fair, Sumail offlane looked very underwhelming. Ramzes on offlane looked decent, but he is one hell of a carry player and still by far the best CIS-carry...better as Sumail and NoOne who played this role as well. So...trying NoOne on the offlane may be worth a try at least...
Solo was rumoured to be their five leaving one slot open, but really do not know if they are all familiar enough to speak english at a competetive level, but on the other hand it worked with Ramzes on EG as well.

I don't like Sumail, but that Eg stack looked bad as a whole. They were sacking Fear so hard in mid (as in, they gave him say viper or dk, and the enemy would pick bane, back in the enfeeble reduced dmg days, gl last hitting with 30 dmg, and, they would not do jackshit to help him with laning or recovery) and putting all focus in rtz and sumail. God knows why, they didn't put misery in the offlane (where he played before) and fear 4 or put rtz mid, where he played before, and fear carry. Other than that sumail himself looked pretty solid.
That being said, not saying your point isn't valid, but the only mid laner that really transitioned succesfully to offlane is s4, and that started in the days where clock or bat mid was a thing(bat is now too a bit), and between those and his puck, he already had 3 heroes he could easily throw into offlane.
On the other hand I do admit noone didn't seem to be in a good form at all the past season, so in that regard mb he is the better candidate to switch roles. Also, if solo leads the stack great, but they still need a 4, and all the really good ones in CIS are taken. I mean, Zayac or Lil would be good-ish, and there'd be save, but i doubt he will leave VP P.

I did not know that VP went inactive, jesus.

I dont get why ppl say VP.Noone is in bad shape. He still destroys everybody 1v1 even if his pick is disadvantageous. there might be 2-3 mid players worldwide that can compete with him on midlane. VP suffered a lot when GPK transfer was blocked and they could not get a decent carry.

NoOne is still one of the best if not the best mid players in the world, and there is nobody that consistently is on that level since Sumail switched from mid. As you have said, he is crushing other top mids with heroes that he just shouldn't win. My guess is that he is a bit sick of playing mid and wants to try some other role, there were many cases where players switched roles, not because of their teams but because they wanted. I am looking forward to new VP if it has NoOne and Ramzes in it.
