Learning to draw - some portraits

well, i returned to drawing the past week and i did 3 portraits. I was a little rusty and after some false starts i was drawing again. i think im starting to get the basics and the portraits are looking similar to the pictures i have for reference but im having another issues like shadowing and controlling the size of the portrait. in almost all my attempts the drawing is just to big for the paper

Also, im starting to look for some nice pencils to draw cause my HB/2B pencils dont let me add too much detail... well thats what i think, i dont really know, maybe i just need to focus more.

Some feedback would be great.

Also, if you can recognize the persons in the portrait would be great

2nd, Rachael madams
3rd, not sure, maggie Q?
4th, not sure, a lot of possibilities
5th, eva green

Just two things you need to do detail well, sharpness/finess of tip of drawing medium and decent tone range control. But detail is way too over rated, and is comparatively the easy part, I say focus more on over all form, structure, composition tone.
