Incoming shitty photos. FUCK I need to learn photo taking class.
So I was invited to the CJ Entus. By who and where? I won't say for privacy reasons. Why? Because the person wanted to invite me, and all permissions were granted (coaches ok'd the visit).
The group of people (my friend, my brother, and I) were in front of the place, but I was too afraid to ring the bell because if its too loud, it would've disturbed the players. We waited until the person picked up the phone and opened the door for us.
Turns out, the place is smaller than I have imagined. The person also explained that CJ Entus's place is smaller than some other practice houses such as SKT and KT.
The first thing that we saw (Which I don't have a picture of) was a giant map of Neo Requiem. The maps can be changed so that players can study the maps. Or at least they used to: the maps were pretty old, my friend and my brother only recognized Python.
The talk with the sports marketing guy was interesting; though he wasn't part of the team itself, he dealt with many sports and e-sports marketing within CJ, and helped CJ Entus since the beginning. So I guess he's semi-part of the team.
After that we took a tour of the gaming house. Nothing too interesting besides computers and trophies.
ROFL
VERY blurry picture of Movie's 2nd place trophy
A-Team practice area
After that we visited the B-Team practice area, not too far away from the A-Team area. As soon as we entered, we realized that most of the area was used for bunk beds, and the practice area was smaller compared to A-Team (sort of like in a bedroom). Special forces + 4 B-Team players were in there. Since they were not prepping for a huge match, they all said hi (and that was it).
Blurry B-Team entrance
Next, we visited the A-Team sleeping area. More like a college dorm. Key thing is, good players sleep in personal beds in 2 rooms, others sleep on bunk beds (probs 4 people on bunk beds?)
DAT COW!!!
Room for captain and best players in team
Interesting note: Living room area has a Television and lots of books on the back, including SlayerS_BoxeR's book.
And then we came back to the kitchen next to A-Team practice area. Since CJ is prepping for SPL, I knew that chances of me meeting the players were slim, and I was right. Though the person who invited me tried to make this happen, I had to wait about 3~4 hours in the area till the players were on break. Not happening, so we took couple of more photos and said goodbye. The people were very friendly (including the coaches), and I had a very good time at the practice house.
xbox360 + Virtua Fighter 5 underneath the Television. NO SSFIV?
For those interested, Effort IS practicing at the moment with the team
Sup BCA?
I have few more pictures to add, but that will come later (Gifts that I got while I was there... unexpected, and my friends got one too. Thank you for giving gifts to my friend and my brother, which I really didn't expect!)
You lucky bugger, Thanks for the pictuers (even the blurry ones). They defiantly have one of the best team houses. The window decals in English are such a nice touch.
It's weirdly cozy, isn't it? I had dinner there, and did some interviews a while back. The ladies they have cooking for the team know how to make a good side dish :D

I wish I could have eaten there.
Though very small, it felt very comfortable and, yes, cozy. In fact, my nervousness went away after I walked around the practice house and other areas.

It's okay, you can admit the picture quality made you cry. <3
I'm actually just infinitely jealous of you, as CJ comes as a close second behind STX in team love for me.
Nice blog, though I don't understand why the pictures have to be SO blurry. I know you're excited, but try to keep your hand still while you take your photos .
From what I know (ie nothing) they do. But many times in interviews korean idols always talk about how they are roommates with someone, at leas the girl idols do. They really live in college style dorm rooms...you'd think that major idols would have more personal space but they don't. Tiny ass rooms for super-mega stars.

I love how there are little english descriptions everywhere in what would appear to be the public areas. Did they predict that many foreigners would like to come visit? I'd imagine it'd be more useful to have the PR stuff in Korean.

thanks for the pictures, SNM :D
<3 Don't worry, you're not missing much when it comes to the STX practice room. It's really bare. My favorite one was the MBC Hero team's - it was fun getting to watch the guys play when they weren't in a booth for once.

Honestly I should've asked that question, but I would say that they wanted to look 'professional' or something? =P
NeverGG might have a better answer on this question.

I always thought Korean BW Pros were treated like Rock Stars, but that's just plain depressing.
No privacy at all, tiny rooms, shared beds.... That's like camp, but all year...
Everyone in Korea lives like that, even Kpop Idols
Somehow I can't believe that...
I remember reading an interview about some Kpop idol, who thought he was the hottest thing because he had... I think, $ 3,000 dollars. Far be it from me to make generalisations about Korean culture, but I think what they expect from a living standard is extremely different.
But super awesome that you were in the Entus house, I would pay so much money to go there, and meet Horang2!!! Cos he is so epic and lovable in every way.
