No he couldn't. They were at his back expo and irradiated before they even got back to his main. He tried to get a swarm at his outer expo but the last defiler died a second too soon.

drop have 12 marines and 2 medics, evo was getting armor and defiler mount wasnt doing anything.

wish savior could use the mutalisks more effectively like Jaedong. remembered how Jaedong used mutaliasks to halt Hwasin very much in the game at Tau Cross. that was amazing...if savior could do that.

He really teched very fast, did NOTHING with his mutas except defend an expansion (but losing 5 mutas in the process to about 12 marines, 2 firebats and 4 medics). Then he lost his Defiler Mound, and bad scourge use and Ultralisk use caused him to lose a lot of lisks quickly to irradiate. Ruby then proceeded to roll over. A few lurkers would ahve been a good idea. I think Savior teched too fast. The purpose of the build is to skip Lurkers and use that gas for Ultralisks. Well, I think that in that situation where his harass was totally useless, he shouldn,t have continued on with that. But that's my opinion. I know about the muta harass => Ultra build. However, if you can't kill a single SCV, try to stay alive before thinking about Ultras. That's where i think Savior made his mistake, in not adapting to Ruby's play and the flow of the game. Sorry but your opinion us wrong. The harass was not designed to do any damage. Simply it was allow him to get the 4th gas he needed for his ultra/defilier build. Lurkers would have been a HORRIBLE idea. Ruby was going Sk with really quick upgrades. Saviors build was actually really good. It was just poorly executed.

there was very little wrong w/ savior's play that game. muta-->ultra is very standard. savior played completely fine against ruby's opening. savior likes to expand alot and have thin defenses until his momentum can kick in. That is, savior relies heavily on defilers to defend himself and key times. That "key time" was when ruby had 3 bases and the large MnM army at his front and the 2 dships. Savior simply needed to toss some scourge at his back and not lose his defiler mound. had savior kept his defiler mound, he would have been able to fend the front push and then would have had 5 secure gas (6th finished, but not very secure) to pump out very upgraded ultra+ling+defiler.
now THAT would have been scary.
if savior had just kept that mound up, ruby probably would have had some good macro, and eventually lost and everyone would have gone "yup! that's savior"
but, again, who cares.
goooo anytime!!!!

i dont see any possible way why it was poorly excuted, when saviour stayed in base for whole time? ruby simply owned him

if thats the case, if Savior's mutaslisks did more damage to scvs and marines, the game would have turned the other way? like delaying the push?
