Dear Teamliquid community After finishing my exams I started doing a "little" Mindmap for basic Zerg Strategies. You might have already seen it on Reddit, but i thought since not everybody is active there some people might miss it. So far it includes some build orders, basic unit (counter)compositions and and a few basic hints for playing Zerg. I can also attach pictures, VODs and replays to the points to make it more clear (already did it a couple of times, they are indicated with a symbol and you can click on it). I am wondering now if it is a good idea to continue working on it and if anybody has suggestions or ideas for additions or quality improvement (I have a bit of a hard time structuring it). Note this is not the end product and that I want to work more on it if you think it is useful. Just post any (if possible productive and useful) criticism or overall questions down below. You can also find or tweet me to ask more question on Twitter: @mYizervas . Feel free to ask away! Link to the Mindmap

OMG, this is absolutely AWESOME!!! This is so useful. I wanted to create something like this but I wasn't sure how to make it since writing on a piece of paper would require me to keep taping more paper and stuff lol. Thank you for this. I think this should be stickied or something.

Nice work! I got one question: Do you drone scout vs Protoss to identify if it is gateway or forge or do you 15 pool? And if you 15 pool, do you add a gas as soon as your overlord spots the gateway? thank you in advance

Thanks !! Hmm vs Protoss there are differenr ways. I often play 15 pool on 2 player maps, sometimes use 4-6 lings to pressure his Pylon vs gateway expanions (the one at the natural) and yeah, I add a gas right after the Queen or a bit later. On 4 player maps i also play 3 hatch before pool with gas quite often. Basically: it depends on my mood and i listen to my guttfeeling. Going 15 hatch without scouting is a bit risky, but you it's ok (even good) to take some risks from time to time, especially in tournaments ;-) Some koreans scout at 10 supply and go hatch first or 3 hatch before pool if they are safe (for example Hyun and some Kespazergs). I think you can do whatever: you just have to play it out right then :-) And don't get upset if you get canonrushed when you go greedy :p

The link does not work I get 502 error.
Edit: The link from your reddit post works but not the one here. This is awesome regardless. It seems that you have not included bunke rush which would be useful.

What kind of strategy would you normally be aiming to go for in ZvP? Been struggling a lot in that MU atm!
