It's a very well written blog and definitly an interesting read for many StarCraft fans as well. It covers many aspects, such as professionalism in e-sports, blizzcon and his team.
I'm writing here to share with you the good, the bad and the ugly. More often than not, I write about the ugly, just like ToD. We always hope e-Sports takes leaps into the direction of greater professionalism, greater prize money and greater publicity. One of the most important things for our personal experience, is that the gaming tournaments take a leap into a more generally accepted conditioned environment. What I mean by this, is that it would be great if there would be some sort of global checklist which every tournament organisation can use to make sure that the players are being accommodated fairly. ...

Grubby is a nice intelligent young man. But I certainly don't want to read the bullshit he writes about war3. Fuck that game. But I'm probably just ignorant.

Most of it is not about WC3, so yeah you're pretty ignorant. :D
If it was I'd have posted it in the other forum.

(SC2)"But it's definitely looking to be a very cool game, true to the difficulty of SC1."

I read it all, and to me it sure seemed like almost all of it was about wc3, and the organizers of wc3 tournaments.

I skipped straight to the stuff about set up, accommodation, and organization, and it was a good read indeed.

Grubby as always, steps in to both clarify what Tod writes and make his own very truthful points about accomodation/event organisation etc. Good stuff.

grubby is class =) good writing

I'm not very familiar with the WC3 scene so i have no idea who Grubby is, i assume he is a top WC3 player of some sort?
Anyway, very well written blog.

Had a few nice conversations with Grubby with the differences between war3 and sc back at ECG 2005. He's not anti-sc at all like most sc people tend to think of war3 people.

Dutch people are generally very good at English, so it's only natural that Grubby, who is a very intelligent guy and has been using the language so much because of travelling around the globe to these tournaments, has good English.
