oversky's ling usage was sickk i had hoped that freedom would take out bisu...that first time he lost his first tank...the second tank..and then the reaver usage...bisu is a pretty calm player. i would have lost my nerve if i'd gotten center rax rushed like that.

No but seriously, Bisu needs to variate his BO vs Zerg cause fast nexus into sairs DT is way too predictable for his opponents by now, thus the rushes.

Going 9 pool speedling against Terran, though, is pretty much a blind gamble from the start. 9 pool speedling isn't considered unrecoverable as a failed rush can revert back into a normal build with a couple hatcheries and some later powering, but honestly, if it doesn't do great damage early on, it pretty much always loses. It's like a stylized 5 pool. edit: FE follow-ups don't really diverge in terms of unit count (unless some wacko 3 gate no gas Reach-throw-a-game-in-tourney-with-foreigners build) until after the phase where 3 hat ling would strike. The problem was the scouting probe dying rather than the intended sair/DT build after the FE. A citadel -> 3 gate speedlot build would have fared the same.

The rush vs terran was pretty much a gamble, especially on such a long distance between the bases... just nowadays about 75% of terrans go FE so it's not a bad gamble, not on such a large map anyway. I encourage rushes cause of the % FE reason and that it's a powerful advantage Zerg has, that they should take use of. I have no idea why someone as a terran would go FE on a double gas main though...

Crappy player for a long time and he gays out 2 players in a row with ling builds to get a spot. I hope he gets fist fucked in the next round. What a chump.

I actually liked the fact that he early game raped both players convincingly. All these FE/Macro builds need to fucking die. With Oversky showing that a ling rush/early game strat may be in his arsenal now players have to think about going straight to macro mode. Oversky FTW!
