Sometimes things just don't work out the way you hope them to. Midas losing 2 games in the group stage, then 1 game to Testie, then 2 games to July, is playing for the bronze medal with 5 losses under his belt. Draco lost only 2 games in WCG is out already. Koreans showed that they are obviously still the best but again in my opinion foreigners show they can compete. This year the Korean delegation was as strong as ever and yet some guys managed to take games from them pretty much like every other year. Would have been funny if Mondi had purposedly lost in the group stages as some sort of punishment on what Midas did the year before. Too bad Mondi is too manly but it would have been hilarious.

i mean...oov plays even more boring than he does in proleague (yeah we know you can build a lot of units). midas (after getting cheesed in his group stages) decides to play the rest of his games by tanking all the way from his base to the enemy base. they left it all to draco to do the stuff ppl pay to watch haven't seen july's games or midas vs july semi final, but does anyone agree with me?

There are two reasons I am doing SC:BW this event: A> because WCG wants 2 commentators on stage at all times. B> because although SC has a MASSIVE hardcore following, there are ALOT of people who see it and are immediately unattracted because they don't understand it. I think I've made it pretty clear that I am "The Newb Observer" and I don't claim to be an expert in the game... but I do believe SC plays a major role in the advancement of esports both inside and outside the US, and if people aren't willing to put time and effort into learning the game outside of events, you have to take steps to educate those who would otherwise not observe the game because they do not understand it. Trust me, I expected to get flamed for my newb casting, but I do appreciate those who can see past that to realize that my goal is not to downgrade the quality of casting... but to educate people who know nothing about the game. -wheat
