You can only view the bracket if you are in the tournament.

What a joke, MLG. Typical disorganisation. I would have thought after over a year of tournaments you could at least learn how to plan something as simple as online qualifiers.
Not buying any of your passes this year unless this gets fixed, and fixed soon. SEA players have next to no opportunities as it is, you can't just go taking them from our best players for absolutely no reason.

Not gonna take someone as talented as moonglade just copping a ridiculous walkover after sitting in the channel and wasting two days of practice time expecting his opponent to show up, so he could play immediately.
Ok, but some of these posts are just a little too self-righteous and frankly hilarious to read.

From Dox, Glade's manager...
He had no reason to ask where Sterling was - Sterling hadn't even been decided as GLaDe's next opponent at that point. Sterling's match against TargA was still yet to be played. Sterling and TargA were tied 1-1. The 3rd game was postponed to today. Sterling never showed up. TargA waited ages before receiving the walkover, and Sterling fell down to the lower bracket, where he immediately received a walkover against GLaDe.
Hendralisk went on to receive a walkover against Sterling, and tgun proceeded to receive a walkover against Hendralisk. But then it seems Hendralisk came online and they revoked the walkover. tgun eventually lost to Hendralisk 0-2, so it's too late for any action to be taken now. The bracket has advanced too far.

So? Find another way to put glade back in.
|
The sad thing is nothing will come of this because the bracket has already advanced too far and moonglade is not going to have his chance. MLG will just sweep it under the rug.

MLG only care about EG and koreans obviosly, seriosly europeans and SEA players need to be taken seriosly aswell.

This is very saddening. I thought i was going to buy a pass this arena, but after such a dodgy qualifiers i don't think i would like to support it.

Was the original postponement because the brackets site fkd up? Cos honestly, it's called challonge.

Just found out that GLaDe is going to miss out on playing because of an MLG error. I would like to speak on behalf of SEA and give a large "Fuck you" (Please excuse the profanity TL, but I feel it's necessary to show my sheer frustration in the matter) to MLG. We will not forget this, you've just lost thousands of supporters, and thousands of dollars.
I hold a high position in Southeast Asia, and hold a lot of influence within the scene. This will not end well for you, MLG.

That's not going to help. They're not screwing over anyone on purpose. It's just a serious lack of any organisation in these quals from the time they started, with all the messing anround with the brackets, til now, when no one knows who they're supposed to be playing and when...
Also, Ziek ^^ is the ultimate SEA supertroll. Just so y'all know

I had a really high opinion of MLG after the success of last year, but this is a really big let down.

I appreciate all of the support guys, but going all pitchforks and loud noises on MLG isn't going to fix anything. If they responded to my e-mails, tweets and messages within an hour, we may have had a chance to correct the situation. But unfortunately the response was too late.
I don't know how or why the admins reached the decision they did, but among the array of issues they've been experiencing with this event so far, I can understand that they were in a hurry to process the bracket as quickly as possible. It's not surprising that something like this could have slipped through the cracks.
Sure, this whole thing sucks, but MLG have shown that they're always striving to improve and I can't imagine we'll see something like this happen again. I love MLG and I'll continue to support them. They do wonderful things for eSports, it's not fair to abandon them over a single mistake.

Ziek, please, stop posting. SEA doesn't want you speaking on their behalf, nor making threats with your supposed influence...
