This has been bugging me for a while now!
In the 2v2 proleague games, how do the players communicate with each other?
The reason I\\\\\\\'m asking because I thought typing in a game is prohibited? And It\\\\\\\'s impossible to talk to each other because you can\\\\\\\'t hear a thing when your wearing headphones!
If they don’t communicate with each other, how do you tell them which player to attack first and so on?
Please enlighten me!
Cheers.

I think they use their game things, like the alt+click on the minimap, and usually when a team goes up to play, they have practiced and they know what to do.
I those levels, I don't thing it's "neccesary" to like communicate.

I know for a fact that players are allowed to teamchat with each other.

They may aswel do that too. I don't know, I'm just guessing here, but like in 1v1 games, they have certain techs prepared to be used. And they play according to the situation. I believe...>.<!

Most often they know what to do, but if communication is needed, they talk with eachother, and ping the map. Alliechat is allowed.

They alt tab out of the game, email each other, and then alt tab back and check their email a bit later.

they can talk on ally chat but alot of it is just knowing whats going on/whats supposed to happen.

why don't they use teamspeak?

I don't think they have to speak much, I mean they have determined a strategy pre-game and will change according to how the game goes, much like 1v1. And since they're pros, they know what to do.

i'm not sure they can chat, i remember Grubby and Tod (maybe zeus[19]) the 4kings wc3 players went to korea and got into trouble cos they didn't know the rules on in game chat.

i like to think of it as yellow trying to tell him stuff and reach just interrupting him, each time faster
yellow: they are massing in the midd-- reach: I AM REACH! yellow: go go counter at 6 o'clo-- reach: I AM REACH! yellow: help they comi-- reach: I AM REACH! yellow: he-- reach: REACH! yellow: i-- reach: REACH!

What about getting it? Cause it helps playing 2v2 even, you can't micro when you need to say something etc when it can be necessary to do so. And yes I'm kinda sure they still need to communicate 'at that level' or whatsoever.
