- Nal_rA > NaDa on U-Boat - IPXZerg > Chojja on Luna
Finals of the day, bo3: - IPXZerg > Nal_rA on Detonation F - Nal_rA > IPXZerg on Into The Darkness II - Nal_rA > IPXZerg on Luna Nal_rA wins 2-1.
This is only day 1 though, more to come. Guess Nal_rA will play in some kind of final tourney at the end of the event, to determine who wins the whole thing.
Someone care to explain how this works exactly? And what it's called, btw? (Mini All-Star League is just a name I made up considering it's a mini version of the Snickers from last year.) Thanks.

All-Star tournament is pretty much what it's called.
How it works: Each group is a mini-tournament in a different city each time. Each mini-tourny is self-contained, there is no outright winner of the whole thing.
Basically, it's just a series of exhibition matches. MBC game needed some kind of filler for the gap between the end of their Starleague and the end of the season. So they created this.
Ongamenet doesn't have this problem, because their Starleague is shorter and they can fit three OSLs in a season (Only two MSLs)
...but the MSL format has changed, so I don't think this will be a problem next year.

Thanks for the precisions. : )

How is the MSL changing next season? Are they getting rid of the losers bracket? Having 3 MSLs a year is a really smart move.. the only way they can hope to compete imo.

I was trying to explain the new MSL format, then it got too long. Made a new post about it.
The new MSL itself is pretty simple... but the qualifying Survivor Tournament is pretty complicated.

I requested some info on this thread http://teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=37200 and no one gave any answers. I think I'll just post here to see if anyone can help:
1. When does the next MSL start? Who will be the sponsor? Have maps been released? [new question-] How has the format of MSL changed?
2. When does the next Pro league season start? Will Sky continue to sponsor the league?
3. What exactly is the MBC Mini All-Star League?
How it works: Each group is a mini-tournament in a different city each time. Each mini-tourny is self-contained, there is no outright winner of the whole thing.
Are you saying that Nal_rA winning this tournament means he's the absolute winner? He will not be facing the winners of the next tournaments?
How were the players selected, or did they qualify?
What prizes are there for winners?
How many tournaments will there be?
How long will it last?
Will they always use the same maps?

Don't know. Don't now.
3. What exactly is the MBC Mini All-Star League?

Nal_rA is the winner of a four-player tournament. He will not face other winners.

Prizes: cashmoney.

Nal_ra is teh ceks ^_^, beating savior on luna !
Last time I saw savior on Luna he was obliterating Reach in the most ugly fashion :/

Nal_rA is owning up everything.
GGPlay Gorush Oversky IPXZerg Julyzerg Yellow Sasin)Child Stay[HyO] Mumyung Chojja [yes?]
All of the above zergs have fell to Nal_rA the last time they faced him. rA is slowly becoming a Julyzerg of PvZ. There is no zerg in the top 10, 20, and probably even 30 who has managed to beat rA the last time they met him.
I THINK Jju lost to rA too last time they met, but can't remember that clearly as it's been a long time ago. If someone can confirm this, I'll add him to the list.
And has Chojja ever faced Nal_rA? What was the result of their last match?

I think rA last time faced JJu in ogn semifinal. He won 3-1. I can`t remember anything after that.
Ra did face ChoJJa ( not sure how many times ). I remember he beat him on Guillotine, he was losing that game, and he blocked hydras with zealots, and zeals and cannons owned ChoJJa. Was that game from ogn group of death ( Ra, NaDa, YellOw, ChoJJa )? He almost lost that game.
