My mobo is the Asrock H87M pro4, and doing some research everyone said to transfer drivers from http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H87M Pro4/?cat=Download&os=Win764 this website and install them manually, but none of them even install because of this "no intel(r) adapters are present in this computer" message. I'm literally stumped, especially since I don't have the CD that came with my mobo any longer. Anyone have any idea as to how to remedy this issue?

If the network card isn't listed here, it's usually turned off in the BIOS (Under chipset/Onboard LAN according to the manual) or may have failed.

This is the ID it listed under the details/hardware section (the only two devices 'not recognized' are this ((ethernet controller) and the universal serial bus controller) Now I was pretty sure I found the right motherboard on asrocks website, but transferring over the drivers (there's a shit ton, and it's hard to discern which one does what and what order I install them in) only seemed to result in failed installations and no apparent changes. **UPDATE** Scratch that, I found the manual and it turns out the mobo is actually a P67 Pro3. I ended up getting the ethernet to work, but nvdia drivers ended up perpetually blue screening it so i am going to try reinstalling windows on it again after wiping the drive. Is there a good program that I could boot off a USB driver to wipe the hard disk for me?

I decided to 'wipe' the hard disc using the windows CD before the fresh installation, but after it installed and it booted up for the first time i asked me if i wanted to run windows 7 or 10 as the OS...how is this possible? **** Fresh installation BSoD on me again, only when i chose to try and update my nvdia drivers for my GTX 570...it was weird because it doesn't even show up as a unknown device in device managers before then, only the 'defeault VGA adapter blah blah etc'. ..perhaps my GPU is dead?
