C'mon...make it an annual event...tournaments lose meaning when they occur so frequently...
GSL code S would be so much better if it had the frequency of the bw proleagues or less...
Make it a bigger tournament...increase the prize pool...have longer series...more competitors next time, just dont rush into it...the quality and excitement will suffer otherwise.
I think once a year at least, probably wait a month minimum though. It would be sick if a timeframe was released, telling when the first qualifier will be, even if its not for 4 months or something.
A Summer/Winter or Spring/Fall TSL would be perfect. Two a year seems like a good number to aim for since in between qualifiers could be held weekly and just keep building the TSL brand. Also as much as I loved the invitees I would drastically reduce that to 1/4 of the participants and let everyone earn their way in.
Another thing I would think would be awesome is instead of having the Finals only Live try and budget a bit more money and fly out the Final Four participants and have the Semi's Live and a week later the Finals and Third Place match Live as well.
Although I want more epic games like the ones we had, TSL would loose it's prestige if it was too common. It wouldn't be as cool to win a TSL if there were several every year. It wouldn't be the same brag status . I think once every 6 months is good, if not more.
It's hard, because once every year is too little. Especially in e-sports, but as I said it's impossible to claim you've won the coolest tournament if it's played too often.

Thank you for saying exactly what I wanted to say.
I always want more TSL, but we don't want to make it into something incredibly common. A little break lets it keep the mystical feel it currently has.
Wait a bit. Agree with two events a year max. It should be something special that you really look forward to. There is enough constantly-ongoing events, don't want TSL to blend in with them/lose its spark.
honestly it took so long (especially getting through the round of 32) to progress that, by the end of it, the nostalgia of the tourney itself was gone. Thank God for Thorzain, he kept the hype up by being the underdog.
if it went like everyone predicted with an all/mostly korean final 4 dominated by MC. i dont think viewer count or the level anticipation, would have been half as high.
ThorZain needs his 5 minutes of fame, he deserves it. Improve on the rules, get some new ideas together (IGN proleague for inspiration+more work on LAN part) and hit it in a month or so.
