I mean... would you rather have BO3 sets that take 2 hours or 20 minutes over some good PvP? How about a balance of races, which would happen if protoss wasn't the easiest race for foreigners by large and if you dispute this, just look at the original TSL pool and the current bracket. Edit: And by your logic, which I assume is shorter = better, wouldn't ZvZ be better than PvP?

What we just saw was pvz to perfection. I think the Koreans would be quite satisfied with how those two games played out. Protoss has always been foreigner's strong suit. It is undeniable. These maps are solid. For those players who missed the boat, try again next season as I'm sure we'll get dif. maps again that are pretty well balanced.

(originally 8 P's, 3 Z's, 3 T's, and 2 R's) if just one of the P>Z or P>T matches swung the other way, it'd be completely normal race makeup (4-2-2) in the Ro8 given the distribution of the players in the Ro16 But yeah, if you don't want PvP semifinals, cheer for those Z's and T's edit: Yes, Wuthering may be hard for ZvP, but Zodiac and Blue Storm aren't easy for PvZ and Othello's stats haven't really been proven yet. Using new maps is a calculated risk by the league. There is a chance they are bad for a particular matchup, but would everyone still enjoy watching Python and Longinus?

I feel kinda sorry for Mondragon, I really don't know what more he could do to win, everything seemed just so goooooodd, too bad one of these two had to go down, this match would make a great final

I mean omg, Mondi played extremely well harassing from all directions with those annoying lurker cliffdrops and massive drops into the main, still Dreiven managed to deflect them all somehow and those stroms.... just WOW I feel kinda sorry for Mondragon, I really don't know what more he could do to win, everything seemed just so goooooodd, too bad one of these two had to go down, this match would make a great final he simply missed the hidden expo he didnt even notice the probes sliding past his two lurkers on their way to the expansion during the game, he only saw it on the stream (told me so), that probably cost him the game. but yeah, dreiven played really really well

He has a keen game sense and understanding for that matchup. He beat Nony 2-1 in pretty convincing fashion. I think he has a decent chance against Dreiven.

Well I could say he only beat Nony 2-1, who was described in TSL as "Strong PvP and PvZ, relatively weak PvT". Im a lil exaggerating but I think u get the point.
