Let it out, folks. We all have a closet love for that smashing 90s hit that you'd have to be blatantly homosexual in order to still enjoy today. Youtube the music video for convenience and let others relive their childhood disgraceful nostalgia as well.
Elton John - Can You Feel The Love Tonight I sing this all the time when I go karaoke, it's the best.
And can you feel the love tonight It is where we are It's enough for this wide-eyed wanderer That we got this far
Bonnie Tyler - Total Eclipse of the Heart
Once upon a time I was falling in love But now I'm only falling apart There's nothing I can do A total eclipse of the heart
Vanessa Carlton - A Thousand Miles
It's always times like these When I think of you And I wonder If you ever Think of me
Won't list the legions of NSync and Backstreet Boys songs I can still sing by heart here because the list would be too long.
- "The Only Thing That Matters" by Spitalfield (from OSL finals) - "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" by Aerosmith (from "Blades of Glory") - "Before It's Too Late" by the Goo Goo Dolls (from "Transformers") - "Remember me as a Time of Day" by Explosions in the Sky (from the "Friday Night Lights" TV show)

looool rickroll is a good one i would've listed it but i am not ashamed whatsoever. People at my university were blasting that at late night finals week in the dorms out of their windows, so hilarious, people not in the know must've been like wtf?

I thought this song was themed for Armageddon(1998). Either way, I have no shame on liking that song

man i love that spitalfield song. i love spitalfield. whats wrong with liking that song?!
Girlfriend - N'Sync haha I want it that way - Backstreet Boys
actually I don't mind BSB or N'Sync songs, i'm glad they don't make anymore though
Hey There Deliliah - Plain White Tees Some other various Justin Timberlake songs
old songs that I like and am not ashamed~
50 Ways to Leave Your Lover - Paul Simon Dancing in the Moonlight - (King Harvest) --Not sure about this one but I absolutely love and reccommend it! Link Eleanor Rigby - The Beatles brilliant song!

i'm the naked person in the background scratching his ass. it's because i'm on that no masturbation thread and my ass is the only thing i can scratch until at least saturday.

I don't want to miss a thing is pretty nice, i don't see why you should be ashamed you like that one.
Here's my list: - "Fly" by Hillary Duff ( from an anime movie) - "Ironic" by Alanis Morisette - "Head over feet" by Alanis Morisette
Can't really say I'm ashamed, if someone finds these song funny and makes fun of me I just remind them they have a mother.
Total Eclipse of the Heart is an awesome song, by the way. It's even better in Old School. I actually like all the songs in the first post, minus Backstreet Boys and N'Sync songs. Vanessa Carlton is hot, too.
Opening song from a cartoon I used to watch when I could barely walk. I listen to it quite often for the nostalgia. I'm not really ashamed of it but it's pretty cheesy
Why is everyone embarassed to like Aerosmith!?!? At least theyre a good band. Id be damn embarrassed if i like half the emo shit that people are proud to listen to =[. HEY THERE DALILA KDFSJKFSDKSDFK god that song is so BAD.
If anything, just some random paul oakenfield track or any other techno stuff. I pretty much only listen to it when playing bw (i think it fits good with gaming =p) but a few songs are on my ipod. My friends just laugh at me when it comes on.
yeah, i love TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE HEART as well. i also like ALONE by heart, SARAH by toto, and SEARCH IS OVER by survivor. btw, does anybody know where i can find lyrics of sarah?! ;P thanks!
i can't post in this topic because i have far well assumed that most of the music i like is gay music/bands. Like Erasure, eurythmics, pet shop boys, queen and 'happy' songs in general (specially not new songs, 80s-90s) Funny how i found out i liked gay music. I was listening one morning to a radio (called rock&pop) which has most rock and metal, but the program is great, and somehow they were playing a string of songs i liked (like relax - frankie goes to hollywood) and thought to myself "weird they are playing songs i actually like here" and just after that the guy goes "well, there you go, gay music for all the gay people that somehow listen to our program". Haven't got out of the closet yet though
Dokuro-chan is the pinnacle of human civilization. Thank you, that's enough! Culture is done! The human race is over, and MediaWorks crossed the finish line first.
Definately Shakugan no Shana openings. Especially the 2nd one, Being by Kotoko
On the same note, my brother and I know the opening theme of Slam Dunk in Spanish and every other month we sing it while imitating the characters. Awesome.
I remember hearing it in my car for the first time and thinking it was a throwback to one of the worst eras of music period.
can somebody tell me what's wrong with this one?
the "beat" sounds really cheesy along with the lyrics.
I dont like his voice combined with the lyrics he sounds like the stereotypical corny white boyband type. Its just cheesy and sounds like a Savage Garden song from 1998 or something.
Liked the video for this song when i was in like 8th grade or whatever.
I like the song when it slows up for the chorus.
Heavy D - Say It Loud(Black & Proud) can't find clip of it. Not really ashamed of this song but If I try to play it loud I am. (cause I'm not black lol)
Rapper's Delight -- The Sugarhill Gang - embarrassing around fellow metalheads
The Meaning of Life -- The Offspring - embarrassing reference to my teen "punk" years
(Game intro) -- Low-G Man (Nintendo 8-bit) - embarrassing around non-nerds, until I transcribed to guitar (then it's awesome; my first solo learned, actually)
Goodbye Yellow Brick Road -- Elton John - incredible song, I don't care what you think!

I think your description is absolutely correct, but I did love that late 90s r&b/pop/whatever era so I do like the song too .
Green Leaves YATTA was a solid submission imo.
Pub, while Arashi in general is borderline, I think you picked what could possibly be their gayest song. Good submission .
edit: p.s. just had a thought. I was never really good w/ english grammar - is it "Songs you are ashamed OF liking" or "Songs you are ashamed FOR liking"?
OMG I love this song too. I am currently learning spanish and can almost compleltely understand it fluently and have been listening to this some for quite some time.
I also reccomend Fulanito - Cepilla Cepilla for something similar and equally awesome!

actually nothing to be ashamend of, it's a pretty fucking good song .
I know your path has been tried and so It may seem like the way to go Me, I'd rather be found Trying something new When the bottom line In all of this seems to say There's no right and no wrong way Sorry if I don't feel like Living the way you do

that was soooo sick
You should be ashamed of every boyz 2men song except this one.

Or just dont be ashamed of any, I guess :O
My friend who's from taiwan loves them. I think if more asians are exposed to good american R&B they'd worship it. They can sing about cliched love triangles and have really cheesy lyrics but by god can they sing, and that's something 90% of chinese "R&B" singers can't do.
like for example this song
Yes it's awkward to listen to lyrics such as, baby, come to me, i'm on my knees, begging you to come back, etc, but the chorus and melody are just superb. Boyz II Men are probably the only r&b band in my gigantic library of music and I only have their later stuff which is more commercial, but my god, they can sing.

You got introduced to gayness, they fooled you, like many others :p
I developed a liking for this song when I went on this sweet ride at Disney World with some friends:
So yeah, as I was walking toward the Roller Coaster to get on and stuff, they just happened to start playing "Walk this Way." Whenever I hear the song now, I remember that night at Disney World riding Rock'n Rollercoaster with my friends.
lolol I was like 6 years old and loved the show so even though I don't listen to this on any regular basis, it's still a song that's very embarassing for me to like

that kind of music is pretty decent, i think it's just the way they market it and the general idea of hot topic.. wow i didn't know silverstein had a music video.. that's weird lol go listen to dead poetic or a beautiful mistake
Brand New - "Good to Know That if I Ever Need Attention All I Have to Do is Die" from Deja Entendu
No good versions online ): There is a live version but it blows cock.
When this album was released all the emo and scene kids of the future loved the whole album and gave in to the superficial lyrics of the songs on it. My friend gave me this album because he liked it a lot, and I thought it was all trash until I got to this song. It has its fair share of typical screaming... But the guitar overlays and melodies made this song the song I've listened to most in my entire life.
MC HotDog - "Wo Ai Tai Mei"
I like the general idea of the song (look up the lyrics online if you care and don't know Chinese). It's just funny, especially how they mix English in to make it "cool". He looks funny too.
Jay Chow + Lara - "San Hu Hai"
Sad song with beautiful lyrics ): I love it even though I feel more than a little gay listening to it. It's like the Chinese versions of Selena and Marc Anthony or something.
its kind a viking style.. but i really like the song, the lyrics are so nature bound metaphors (although i always found headbanging kind a ridiculous - is it a kind of meditation while doing/listening to music or whats behind it ?)
