I have to first say that I ended up winning the game, but only because the Terran was stupid (APM = 92 lol).
If you want, you can just watch the first few minutes (when bunker rush happened).
He bunker rushed and I blocked, but I ended up way behind. He sent like 7 SCV's to help his rines and I lost a lot of my drones.
I know there's been lots of threads on this. In fact, Midian wrote a thing on dealing with 7 SCV's, but I'm asking for an actual replay dealing with 7 SCV's, not just theory.
I have seen replays of 3 SCV bunker rushes being blocked. I have NOT seen replays of 7 SCV bunker rushes being blocked.

Anyway on topic um download these vods it'll help you defend. Gorush vs. Sync 815, Savior vs. Yooi dont know which map msl, July vs. Boxer on requiem, July vs. Nada on r-point , July vs. Iris forte and if you lost your nat. hatch or are behind Gorush vs. Xellos and July vs. Xellos on forte. Or if your hatch is being attacked use your head like in Savior vs. Oov on rov very nice thinking. Savior opened the mineral path and flanked the bunker with lings. Most are 2-3 scvs but i think Xellos vs. July was more not sure Nada vs. July too.
Also scout at 9 drone you can see if he 8rax which allows a 12 pool in time and if he is diagonal from you its so far away so its easier to defend. I know bunk rushes are hard especially the ones when they bring like 2+ marines and make a late bunker when you used all your larva on drones. Also 8 rax fake bunker rush is annoying too killing like 2+ drones than leaving. You should kill the scv building the bunker. If its complete try to block the marines way to bunker with drones and try to delay time until lings come. Try to prevent rallied marines from coming and than attack with drones and lings. Kill the scvs repairing the bunker. You should click on mineral/gas on your nat so drones can slide through.

stack your drones somehow and fight him by unstacking, without the gas stack method . also make a sunken while you fight with all your drones. if the positions are close you can do what july did against NaDa and send all your drones to his base with your lings. I don't really have reps
also late bunker rushes really suck alot. I often do 11 pool speedling upgrade and go from there.

I've actually tried that (hatching in base, canceling the nat hatch) but I ended up having worse eco than the terran.
What ended up happening in the game I posted was that his 7 SCV's and 3 marines killed my morphing sunken right after it morphed. My first wave of drone drill failed miserably. The second drone drill with 6 zerglings succeeded, but only barely.

here's the lowdown on bunker rushes, DONT BE A PUSSY, 12 HATCH ALWAYS
if you get good at stopping bunker rushes, you will be MORE than happy to have a terran player bunker rush you every time. 12pool is BAD! if you have time to 12pool do NOT DO IT. A smart terran won't even attack, and may do something like gas + academy immediately and then have a small MnM group right when your hatchery finishes. This is a way bigger pain in the ass to deal with.
therefore, don't be discouraged. 12hatch 100%. Things you must do if you see a bunker rush coming
1) stop making drones at 13/17 so you can have 3 larvae for lings when your pool finishes (i think you did this from what i remember) 2) bring 8-9 drones for the bunker rush. the number is 8-9 because 1 shot from 8-9 drones kills a marine. 3) make sure the overlord that's at your expansion isn't vulnerable (i don't know about you but i always send my 2nd overlord the expo to watch for bunker rushes. you gotta run him sometimes tho or else you'll lose him and can't make lings =[ )
So that's the basic stuffs, now for the logic that's tough to hear at first, but makes sense in practice (i'll upload some replays after class today)
First of all, you only sometimes need to attack the marines. In your replay, you attack the marines when no bunker was anywhere near started. There's no real point to this, as you can simply let your hatchery take damage for 10 seconds until your lings are out. This is what you SHOULD do w/ your drones IN THIS ORDER
1) if he builds his bunker too early (long before his 2-3 marines are there) KILL THE BUNKER. You CAN kill the SCV first, but sometimes its easier to just target the bunker w/ your 8-9 drones and kill it ASAP 2) if he rushes you w/ marines too early (1 marine or 2 marines w/ not many SCVs nearby) just kill the damn marines w/ good control 3) if he rushes w/ 2 marines AND 5-7 SCVs AND builds the bunker once his marines are there, this is the ONLY thing you need to worry about. In this case, his army is designed to fuck your drones up. so RUN AROUND HIS ARMY AND LET HIS BUNKER FINISH. Your goal now is to use 8-9 drones to stop any more marines from getting to that bunker. 2 marines and a few SCV isn't THAT big of a threat. don't panic, and DO NOT build any sunken colonies, just wait until you have 8-10 zerglings and then hit the bunker w/ lings+drone group. Kill the repairing SCV's first and then take out the bunker and, at this point, you now have a huge advantage in the game. 4) if he rushes w/ 3 marines AND many SCV as he did in your game, he can't build the bunker in time. Again, run AROUND his stuff and when your 8 lings hatch, his bunker will be 50% so you can hit it w/ drones + lings and have an even easier time killing it

remember, a bunker rush w/ lots of SCV is VERY "allin" ish. If it fails in any way, terran is seriously fucked for the rest of the game, so don't be afraid to lose a handful of drones while trying to hold it off.

not quite, its generally easier to isolate/surround as well as control drones when they aren't stacked.

Thats not really true. The timing just simply doesnt favor the Z who will essentially be stuck in their base for a bit because of the bunker with 4 marines sitting at their choke... Then your strategies are limited and the T will simply bunker the fuck up and go one base vs you and push once he gets to vessel and there is almost no way you can catch up to his econ without a ton of risk/greed or something lucky like having him exit his base while you run a lurker in, or pulling a slow lurker drop.

I'm not going to watch this replay, but when are you drone scouting? If you 9 scout, it is almost always better to just cancel hatch and make a pool instead if you find out he's bunkering. The thing that helped me the most with bunker rushes was drone scouting later, the later you scout, the earlier your pool is finished and you can get out lings faster. Also, If his scout arrives early, like just after you built hatch, hotkey up 6-7 drones and transfer them as soon as you see him building the bunker. Rallying your 2nd overlord to your nat is also a good idea, because a lot of the time he can build it out of site range and in firing range and you won't see it until his scv building the bunker glides into site range while it's building, and he gets a few free seconds on his bunker. If he's bringing 5+ scvs, then you need to bring more drones, like all but three or four. Also, if it's a map with a smallish nat exit like rh3 or gaia, then bringing these drones to the choke can slow and impede the flow of marines to the bunker, giving you a bit more time, and it also puts you in a perfect position to flank with drones+lings. The key to stopping it, I think, is not losing too many drones to his first 1-2 marines and 3-7 scvs. As long as you can keep those up, you can usually stop it by either using your drones to help lings kill the bunker, or by having enough money to build the lings to kill it before it kills your hat. You may also consider simply retreating your drones to your main after you've lost 1-2 or after the bunker is complete rather than putting them at a natural choke.

seems fairly well covered, i will just add my 2 cents. If they bring 7 scv just get in your head this is basially an all in move, and for you to survive your going to have to treat it as such. I bring all my drones except 3-4 as a general rule. I make it A priority that i have to toss down AT LEAST 1 sunk and make 6-8 lings in response. I prefer stacked drones vs the rines, i like to find a visible mineral patch that is below the rine force and stack to them, than unravel and hit them as i cross over them. From there you micro, hit the rines, and focus some on the producing SCV as you can.
Aside from this i would advise what has been said i believe, on maps like RH3 bunker rushes are very popular, if you know your opponent to be that type of a player a 12pool opening is much safer, you will have 6 lings or so by the time the bunk is being tossed down, a MUCH better counter. On distanced maps like Azalea, Luna or R-Point to a certain extent you are resolved to using mass drones and sunk/ling.

good zealot rushes are much harder to stop than bunker rushes. Bunker rushes are fragile due to the low HP of marines. I can never hold zealot rushes by good players in close positions w/ 12 hatching, esp if they bring probes : [!

In 12pool you get lings in general at the bunker a second after it finishes and when 2-3 rines get in... You have not as much drones as in 12h/11p and still need to defend with drones if he is setting up a fast bunker, you can lose a lot of games to ppl, that just make bunkers and dont care for your build, and I tell ya, there are some ppl that even seeing a fast pool dont care, usually they are not good players, but they sure set up those bunkers good enough, they realy are determined in executing those replay strats... :> I generally prefer lately 9ov 9pool drones up to 11, 11 hatch, lings and so on, if he really cares 12 pool will die :p

i think it's only impossible if they micro their probes well and stop you from making sunkens, i think if you make 3 sunkens, cancel first one, etc, and micro your lings well it's possible to always it. 2 gate + 4 probe is about as difficult to stop as 8 rax + 5 scvs i think

hmm actually there is rep which is boxer vs yellow on blade storm which is one of my favorites... though it is not a bunker rush rather an scv rush but i think yellow might give u some ideas how to deal with mass scv and a couple of rines...
off topic but this is the way terran should play against zerg... how i am going to miss boxer... anyway lets not make this another lamentation to boxer thread

it kinda depends. 3 sunken is a lot of money that early. 150 for drones and 225 for the creeps. id say 2 sunkens is more realistic. the way i beat zealot rushes are to keep your ling count high. just keep pumping zerglings for a while. try to get 1 sunken up.
NEVER EVER LET THEM BLOCK YOUR RAMP. this is annoying as fuck and cuts your ling reinforcements by half. you might be fucked if this happens. if the zealots are at your hatchery it is likely that he isnt teching and is just making pylongs and zealots. so keep making zerglings. dont tech until you know hes turtling back at his base.

don't you end up down if you pull 6-9 drones to kill a bunker, 1 scv, and 1 rine? I would think the terran will move into standard play with an almost insurmountable lead. However, when I try pulling 3 drones, sometimes the rine makes it in on time.

bunker rushes are honestly easy to deal with, as are cannon rushes. i always send me second overlord to my natural expo so i can scout for those. 4 drones usually does the trick and just zone the marine while getting lings up then countering.

Scouting is only half the battle. Cannon rushes are pretty easy to scout, but if you have no clue how to defend against them you will die every time.

Just gotta know how to push multiple drones through mineral patches. If you don't know how to do it, you will die every time unless the protoss doesn't know how to do it properly (e.g not leaving a space to put down a 3rd pylon immediately after one gets destroyed). If you know how to do it, its pretty easy to defend.

Assuming he puts the cannons behind the minerals this is true. However you don't mention how to do it for new people. Although there are several different methods to move drones across a mineral line, this is the one I find easiest.
Select a couple of drones and right click them on a mineral patch. Then shift-click one drone away from the group you are selecting and spam click on the other side of the minerals.

I played him in a TvZ and he didn't 12 hatch. It was a two player map and he didn't want to get his hatchery blocked by an SCV.
