Snow unloads away from the direction the tank turret is pointing, which makes the trick doable - he unloads and since the tank turret has to turn slightly, he has enough time to load back in before the shot lands but after the tank fires. Ah interesting, I’d always thought tank shots were hitscan, you learn something new every day!

The base and the turret moving on top. That makes them good at kiting, but the turret part always have to move to face the unit being targeted.

Aye so you can pop back up before the turret swings, but if it actually fires I’m not sure how you can dodge it. Is a tank shot a very, very fast projectile rather than a hitscan? IIRC in SC2 tanks always swing into a certain position when sieging, so depending on orientation prior you can get a first volley off faster/slower. I’d just always assumed tank shots were fully instantaneous but hey, part of the beauty of the game that I’m still learning new craic to this day!

Funny how many of them independently said that would lead to a fight in real life! it was the old wild west 90/2000s days where tempers would flare up in cig-smoke filled pc bangs similar to arcade cultures worldwide

To outplay reaver you need to understand what makes scarab dud and use that positioning against itself. I dont see much else to do. 2-3 wraiths maybe a must. Snow really mastered this and he really outplays the top T's with it.

It might be because the projectile needs to decide what gets 100/50/25% dmg from the origin. IE all splash projectiles might work like this.

That would make sense. I wonder if you can dodge the primary shot and still have it splash out? One for Snow rather than me to try I imagine!

Crazy micro stuff made possible due to realistic scientific or tech limitations. Like clunky unit pathing and high ground advantage. Whereas SC2 tech is so advanced to the point where both realism and gameplay tactics suffer for the worse.

But mini probably is best player in world with early game zealot micro as far as I can tell. seems like most of his wins come within first 5 minutes vs terran lol.
