If thats true, fix the liquibet ;O
woops, my bad. Liquibet's right, I'm wrong. I actually had it right at first then everything got erased on accident and I had to re-write everything. Was pretty pissed so I prolly made more mistakes. Fixed.
by knocking out a bunch of other Korean gosus at WCG Korea last year, then knocking out XellOs at WCG, only to lose to androide.... no, RAPED by androide.
Whoa, just re-read through the list and noticed how many big names there are. rA and BoxeR in a group, YellOw and Pusan in another, and NaDa and Reach in another. XD

I'll probably do it after the individual leagues have been uploaded. I don't know which week Live2Win is going away, but I'll check my PM box. If it's this week it will probably begin around Sunday. If it's next week I'll be able to upload around Friday.
I am really not much of a Silent Control fan. I get that "show off" feeling from him. I don't like it. I could barely watch him winning against Xellos after hearing he blanked him, yet lost to REASON. Which kinda pissed me off. Since I was like, "How?"
IPX is top material almost always.
Reach is always good.
Boxer and Nal_Ra same group? This is like the Hagler Hearns or Ali vs Frasier of SC. Seriously, I want them both in!
These are usually the best WCG's the korean ones. Always crazy, and interesting.
fuck fuck fuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ixp lost again!!! and again zvz! this is stupid! does he has any chances now to get spoot for WCG Finals?

is he still 15? seems like hes been 15 for 2 years
I just saw the 815 game and Control went mnm and tank while stork went mass speedlot/goon COntrol never got his nat (for nay extended period of time) or an Island.... Stork really pusnished him Thanks god no control in WCG THIS YEAR!

PS. I wish PoP update the LB ...
indeed, or at least direct us to where we can dl them.
frozean[name] has what it takes to be the next big Pro. Call my a nut sucker for my west clan but i knew Frozean was amazing when he 2-0'd G.s)Kyo who is considered one of the best tvt's around atm.
He is also Romad's favorite player (one of them) afaik.
ok. I'll download the reps and put a package on the tracker.
edit: if you want to dl directly you have to tell your os to match non unicode chars to korean letters, as described in the articels section on how to make starcraft work with korean fonts.

Control, Romad loves players based on their apm signatures

But! I agree, he's awesome.
Haha FrOzean is one of my favourite terrans and i just looooooooooooooove his style
There was a thread about that rule changing. roMAD, he's not PoLaris[Name]. PoLaris[Name] lost in round of 32, he lost 2:1 to BeSt[Gamer] and his name is 김학주
because most koreans see zergbong as the best amateur zerg (i don't see him that way but he's still very good) and in_dove is awesome tvz o_o the actual games were a mixed bag - game 1 was crap one sided rape but game 2 was pretty nice
rA's Mind Thought: "Holy shit, I just lost 2-0...ermm~~"
btw, I think he kind of lost without trying too much, he can't use the strats he has prepared for the MSL final so ;p.
the msl final is almost 3 weeks after he played the wcg match. it's a stretch to assume he'd use the same builds vs both oversky and savior, and an even bigger stretch that he already has all his builds vs savior prepared. in general, the pros just dont perform very well for wcg

Who do you think is the best then? ogogo? ameba[S.G] & Mania[S.G] are progamers i think.
First a new topic from IriS[YY] on this, although the torrent is up since 3 days, and now this question. It is posted several times, that Orions nick is wanna. Right in this thread!

Anyways thanks for uploading the reps! <3
Ogogo surely still has progamer license? ameba is amateur but i don't regard him highly in zvz or zvp. I think orion is the best amateur zerg. Siz)JiMin, HurIn[InCa], Sea.LionkiNg, hot[fOu] are all good too. mania[s.g] is ok but i don't see him as being upto the level of these others

Ameba is not pro, but my understanding is that he is a tester of pro maps.
It's a little hard to say who the best amatuer zerg is since so many top amatuers were taken in the proteam draft, but besides the ones you mentioned, Lionking and Terror[fou] impress me a lot.

aMeBa[S.G] has such a sick zvt though. do you have any more TvZ of Dream.t)Orion replays that you would be willing to share? i thought the one where he gets 150 supply in 13 mins versus you was quite crazy.
eh wtf is everyone talking about? sure aMeBa is a great player, and you all keep talking about his zvt but I would rather say his zvt is overrated. Sure he's won a few good players but ive seen him play pretty bad too. Just look at the rep vs NaDa, he had that game won like 10 times but still lost...
Yeah yeah I know what you all are thinking, nada is a machine bla bla and is great etc but the fact is, the "so called" best amateur in korea shouldnt lose a game like that to a player who isnt even top 5 progamers on the scene atm... I might sound a bit arrogant but he hasnt impressed me that much. Anywho, thats just my opinion! Good night! (its late here, 06.00 tt;)

There was something wrong with his keyboard as he could not control his units properly, but the ref did not let him pause because it was a malfunction from the player's hardware
The game continued, but FrOzean soon requested a pause again. FrOzean reported that everything else worked, but the marine alone would not listen. So the ref, deciding it was a system malfunction, announced a regame to be played. However, upon inspection of FrOzean's hardware, it was determined that the fault came from the player's keyboard and not the system, in which case neither a pause nor the regame were to be permitted.
As a result, FrOzean was forced to forfeit the game, and YellOw got a free win. Apparently, FrOzean's problem was that his shift key was being pressed at all times. I dunno if that means it was physically being pressed, or the set-up was wrong, but either way he got fucked but still manage to come back 2-1.
Oh btw, do you have any info on the broadcast? It seems like a lot of games for only two days. Are they going to broadcast every game or just pick whichever one seems best at the moment?

Thanks much Live2Win! Shitty format IMHO, no Double Elimination and No Loser Brackets! WTF? So either ForU or Casy/Midas; either July or Reach? Stinks!
BeSt[HyO] can be really happy with that draw. The 4 amateurs have to play the 4 seeded players first. Imo all amateurs won't have chance against July, ChoJJa or OOv. ForU is the easiest matchup by far.
Yeah, as long as Reach doesn't meet a Zerg (unless it's Chojja) in the finals, his chances are pretty good
I said "unless it's Chojja" because they're teammates, they know how to counter each other, their strategies, etc. that certainly doesn't make him a bad ZvP player (IE. Nal_rA beating him in The Eye pretty badly, that's because rA knows chojja's style and countered it)
oh, and don't forget he's beaten Yellow[name], so far the best Zerg he met in wcg
If I got it right from the official homepage, this is the schedule of the stracraft matches with the "stage" icon (I assume this are also the games that will be televised?!?):
8/5 11:30: Casy vs Midas 8/5 15:00: Winner Oov/kizoo_academy vs Winner JJu/ZergMan 8/5 16:30: Winner July/In_Dove vs Winner Reach/GGPlay
Actually now I hope Reach qualifies instead of July since Reach wont be in the upcoming MSL/OSL, and July still has a good chance to qualify for OSL. Reach, Oov and Stork would be perfect, as Stork might miss out qualifying for next OSL.
iNc, that's in online games. You forgot that pros play even better offline. -_-;;
I was about to say that I would find Midas a scarier player than Chojja at the moment, but then I forgot that there really aren't any TvZ stars outside of Korea, and there's just NO WAY that any Zerg or Protoss outside Korea is going to touch Chojja. No fucking way anyone can even come close in ZvZ vs the world's best ZvZ player.
No i meant that as offline as this is WCG. Oov can be beaten TvT by Androide esque players and i can see him losing a TvZ but Chojja/July cannot be touched.
On August 05 2006 09:30 {88}iNcontroL wrote: well holy shit. No non kor can touch July/Chojja and only a few can touch Oov. Good lord >_<
lol I would actually say no non kor can touch any of july/chojja nor oov/midas in a bo3. Midas was a monster 2004 and everyone said (who saw him play irl) he was untouchable-,-
anyway we saw what happend last year but imo these 4 players are much better than the 3 that went last year and now that the koreans know they cant just go there and own everyone up (these players probably can though lol) they will certainly practise more before WCG;; The money is great so-,-v
holy fucking shit. This is going to be date rape at WCG finals this year heh. We haven't seen anything like this since the old days of BoxeR ripping up the circuit.

but boxer won the wcgs with some effort since he has always found strong opponents who made good games against him , but in this case , i dont see anyone having a chance vs july chojja or oov.
u stupid people, cut that crap sometime. losing once or twice doesn't mean someone is not very good. especially when talking about progamers ffs. one player has to get a win and the other gets the loss and they all play each others. it's fucking retarted, stop thinking like that every time a player makes some bad games
game 1: Gaia - july at 5, oov at 7 oov went 1br double comm, and although he won the initial battle at the center by that time july had already expo`ed at 1. As both attacked the other`s base for elimination, oov was wiped out of his expo by defiler + zergling + lurker. GG, july 1 - 0 oov
game 2: Azalea - july at 1, oov at 5 oov went fast bunker rush and was successful; july lost 6 drones until he finally got rid of the bunker. oov expo`ed while july was suffering from the loss, and eventually won by MM + multiple tank rush. GG, july 1- 1 oov
game 3: Paranoid Anroid - july at 3, oov at 1 oov again went fast bunker rush, but july somehow thought this was a fake move, and afforded only 3 drones for defense, but marines kept coming and the expo hatchery was destroyed. GG, july 1 - 2 oov
oh btw, how is WCG goign to work for oov and midas? didn't xellos forfeit a match in OSL/MSL in WCG 2004 so he can continue on WCG? or did they time it well so their schedules won't conflict?

Don't see why oov would have troubles about OSL/MSL schedules =\

Because oov planned to watch OSL/MSL at home in front of his TV
I just watched reach vs july (skimmed a bit but got the gist of it).. And those reavers pissed me off -- I know that feeling so well, you have these reavers who're supposed to at least kill some units and all you get - the few times that they actually DO shoot when they are fighting in a bad angle - they hit 1 hydra..
That might really have cost him the game.. he could have had another templar and some units instead or maybe even 2 templars.. Or he could have had 2 reavers that weren't retarded (like if he'd been attacking from where july was at, they act smarter when attacking in that direction).
