It really depends on what type of stream and goals you are trying to set for yourself as a streamer. If you are streaming just to stream in order to more so entertain yourself, or to show skill and not really interact with the viewers, then I would suggest no cam / no mic.
I personally streamed for years with no cam / mic because I simply had a hard time focusing on the game (BW / SC2) while interacting with viewers at the same time. Although, you always have the option to interact / entertain the viewers after the games as well. If you are aiming to become a popular streamer and make revenue doing it, then I would say it is mandatory to stream with MIC / Cam and interact with the viewers at the same time, etc.
Otherwise, unless you are a top pro gamer of a certain game or famous, I don't see how you could make a reasonable amount of revenue. It all depends on what you want to stream and why you want to stream it, what your purpose as a streamer will be.
Yeah that's what I was thinking as well. I'm obviously not a professional gamer (if anything I consider myself pretty introverted and not the best at video games), and I have no intention of becoming a full-time streamer or anything like that. It might just become something I do in my free time.
