Exams tomorrow, so sorry about the crude quality, no time to proof-read/polish.
Thoughts on winning the game:
Very happy, but feel sorry for Xellos. However, we did make promises to each other, so I don’t feel too bad about it.
What were the promises?
Since only one of us can be in the finals, we promised that whoever gets in will win the title. One of us was bound to be eliminated; therefore we said that whoever loses will not be depressed. Actually, Xellos is stronger than me, but I was luckier in the games, therefore I advanced into the finals. I had to beat my team-mate to be in the finals, and I will try my hardest to win the MSL title.
Anything special happened during the preparation for today’s matches?
Last time (during the practise of Round of 4) I practised in the outer room. This time, Xellos decided to go to the outer room (the inner practice room is better). If I lost today, people would think whoever practises outside will win the match ^^
Your opponent will be Nada.
It doesn’t matter who your opponent is, whether it is Nada or Boxer, I have to win. We have some of the best Terran players on our team, and I am experienced in playing against Nada.
Can you tell us why did you lose to Nada in the Winner’s Final?
Thinking back, I don’t think I wanted to win as badly as Nada, therefore I was not well prepared and not in the right conditions. Most important of all, I lack the BO5 experience. Furthermore, I did not prepare towels and drinks, which are crucial in long battles.
Your practice plans:
I will definitely play against the Terran players on my team. Although my schedule is pretty tight until the date of the match (Feb. 6), Nada will also be busy, therefore I am not pressurized by the schedule. The amount of time spent practising is not the most important part of the game; instead, it is your mental state.
You lost in the KT-KTF Premier League, many fans believe you should have won. What do you want to say to your fans?
I gained a lot of experience lately. Losing the Premier League is not the end point of my career, I still believe that I am learning and maturing in the process, and that is what I believe when I play games. I will not play matches that will give me any regrets. I will try my hardest to win this MSL title.
