Man City is favorite vs everyone
Bayern is favorite vs everyone but City
Real Madrid isn't really a favorite, more like a roach. Just won't die

Yours is pretty solid like I’d personally make a few swaps but pretty on the money. I feel Real have the intangible clutch factor (see me literally predicting them losing in every round only for them to lose last time they won) over Bayern. But Bayern may have the benefit of being able to 100% focus on the CL with the league so far out of their grasp. That’s pretty much a crapshoot. PSG just aren’t that good so I’d put Arsenal ahead, despite a ropey performance again Porto, but I could see Mbappe on fire carrying them through a tie or two. Despite my complaint earlier that Athletico’s modus operandi in recent years is knocking one decent side out and then doing nothing, I still think they have the steel and nous over Dortmund, and it’s not like Dortmund are an unbelievable attacking side either. Barca IMO just aren’t that good currently, not terrible by any means but they’re as much their name and history as they are a currently top side. City are clearly the best side in the competition, but they’ve been that IMO for like half a decade so it’s no guarantee of anything. Id argue Liverpool was as good or even stronger in the CL than City

Id argue Liverpool was as good or even stronger in the CL than City Yeah, certainly a good case for them there. I think City probably won less on the European stage than how good they were. Like Lippi’s Juventus and Pep’s Barca they didn’t convert being probably the best sides in Europe to as many European trophies. Zidane/Ancelotti Real Madrid sides IMO converted more than one would expect. Fair play to them but I don’t think winning the CL necessarily means you’re Europe’s absolute best side.

Real Madrid are the Rogue/$o$ of football. They aren't always good, and it's easy to hate them, but they have an undeniable clutch factor.

Arsenal is missing the CL experience factor. They started nervous against Porto in London! What will happen against a proper team? if they get other than Dortmund this round, they should be out.

- now every year (before: every 2) - 48 teams (before: 24) - until 2029 they will always be played in Qatar, reasoning: "sustainability"

Arsenal - Bayern, dortmund - atletico, RM - City, PSG-barcelona. Two teams are facing tougher QF competition than they will face in the semi. From a power rank perspective it's arguably 1 vs 2, 3 vs 4, 5 vs 6 and 7 vs 8.

Couldn't ask for a better draw as an LFC fan. Plus the home 2nd leg in the semifinals is great too. I'd be happy to face either Leverkusen or Milan in the finals, which if all goes accordingly, one of them will make it. Insane draw for UCL, an underdog from one side will for sure make it, and one of the powerhouse teams will make it from the other side.

Worse is that this will lead to Bayern vs City in the semis and PSG/Atlético with a good chance for a final.
