True, though I feel they are important points.
As for one-base tech, the person who really thwarted Boxer with it was Jinnam, 3-0'ing Boxer using his amazing fast lurk play (an earlier form of inControl's "gay" build). I know I'll always remember Yellow for being the first fast hive Zerg. Other Zergs of that era would hold lair tech while they expansion grabbed through the midgame, but Yellow was less expansion greedy than his counterparts, teching instead.
What I'll remember Chojja for is his speed that enabled him to harrass with his mutas as he worked up to ultras. It's his micro that made his macro work. These days, that's not so uncommon, but back then not many Zergs could really do it like that.
Anyway, I'm through with this. Me lecturing you is like a professor lecturing another professor in a grad level cless...I'll spend a lot of time typing relative to the amount of time you will spend learning.

Haha, has this ever happened to you?
This happened last week, we were in class and there was a guest professor and he just started battling with our regular professor.
Everyone else was like zzzz

When did jinnam 3-0 boxer in any official game o_O?
They played in the finals of OGN Starleague once where boxer 3-0ed jinnam, but what games are you talking about? Practice games? When boxer first appeared in game-q and the like?

I remember that. Read it on Broodwar.com way back. It was some small exhibition match/tourney where Boxer got spanked by Jinnam. I think that's the only official games he won against Boxer though. I think it was around the same time or right after Boxer nailed Jinnam in the hanbitsoft finals. Also I think LT was one of the maps.
EDIT: You can see elky saying it in this link: interview of smuft and elky http://www.jschina.com.cn/gb/jschina/game/zhuanti/node1989/userobject1ai225579.html

Yeah, it wasn't in OSL, but it was still a big deal. Back then, Boxer was god. Seeing Boxer fall was always a big deal.

They came into the OSL in Gilette, back in 2003 or 2004. They are also in the top seeds.

iirc it was a few weeks (or so) after the sky 2001 finals between boxer and garimto

Hmm that's very possible considering this interview was made after(dunno how long though, probably a few months after Elky decided to stay) Elkys 2nd place in WCG2001. Maybe possible to check it with wayback machine but im too lazy to do that over such a small detail. Would be sweet if someone dug up some info/wrote something about the event though. As I understood it IntoTheRain also won a match 3-0 against Boxer, though Im not 100% certain on that.
Point was Jinnam won Boxer 3-0, and Im not surprised only few remember this considering it wasnt a big tournament, and it's a longass time ago =]
Iirc the maps were New Crescent Moon, Lost Temple and Deep Purple. Anyone can confirm this ? PoP ?

IntoTheRain did 3-0 Boxer, but that was a bit later, when Boxer entered his first "slump" (well, imo, he wasn't actually slumping....people learned how to deal with his style, and he needed to evolve before he could be a top level gamer again, and indeed we have seen him evolve -- mainly in terms of his ability to fight a macro game). So, it wasn't quite as big a deal. Even though Boxer lost one of those games to a goon rush breaking his wall.

Ahahahha Boxer losing to goon rush ~_~. Rock did that recently and I was aghast.. Didn't know it has happened with Rain too.
I do remember some parts of those games... Every player was so much more stylized back then, but now, it's not about the little things but rather how a player manages a whole game..
Readin the old boys made me nostalgic and notice how far this game has come.

Seriously awesome. I love this kind of reads.
