Of my three ps3's none of they have given me any problems. I've had way more fun on my ps3's though. And they play blue-ray!

It all depends what games you're into and what you're friends are playing. The PS3 is going to churn out some better looking games but the online experience for the 360 is untouchable. On that note, PS3 doesn't really have the exclusive games that are amazing. There's resistance and resistance 2, but from what i've heard, those were pretty mediocre. 360 has a great library of exclusives that include: Gears of war, Halo 3, Fable II, err can't really think about it right now, but especially since FF 13 was announced on the 360 as well, if i had to chose 1, go for the 360. edit: Right, there's MGS: Guns of the Patriots. I thought there were some better exclusives for xbox 360 but my memory is faulty, i think they're getting bioshock 2 faster? Dunno, but MGS is a solid game.

Is the hard drive size significant? (Or have you found yourself limited by the one you have?)

It's also pretty sweet that you can just get on youtube and such on a PS3, however, it laaaags. It also doesn't read the youtube plugin half of the time, so you'll load a page, and nothing comes up. Try again, and you get an error and have to shut down. Also, trying to play Street Fighter with lag? No fun. The PS3 exclusives also aren't that great. MGS4 is fun the first couple times you beat it, but thats about it. Mirror's Edge is for PS3 AND 360, and it's a great game. They can both play DVD's, and overall, I'd say that the 360 is more reliable. There's my opinion.

Resistance Resistance 2 Little Big Planet Metal Gear Sold 4 ... that's about it that I can think of. I pretty much bought mine for MGS4 and Final Fantasy; and the latter is now coming out on the 360.

If sport games are what you are looking for, either one will be fine.

It has a excellent catalog of games out; I can only think of a handful of games on the PS3 that you MUST play and that aren't on the Xbox 360. Another question: Out of the 360 users, how many got redringed? And how easy was it to replace the system?

The fact that you can download new levels from other users makes it's replay value tremendously high. It's worth owning just because it's so well done.

1. watch movies rather than play games (PS3) 2. swear and shout profanity online (360) 3. are 12 years old (wii) Being serious, I have a wii when it first came out. It's been collecting dust. I'm looking forward to an xbox 360 for $200 on Black Friday. With the PS3, the money you have to put up front is too expensive and multiplatform games on PS3 is always worse. With the new 360 patch to allow install, PS3 loading seems a lot slower in comparison. Bluray is a nice feature, but the movies in general are fucking expensive so either rent or wait for discounted bluray deals.

360 is mostly about fps games and If you want FPS games you have a computer anyway, you shouldn't be buying them on a console especially when a computer built at the price of a console can handle them at higher graphical quality, the games will be cheaper, and the online play and extra content will be free. If you really want to use a controller with your FPS games on a PC then plug one in, its as simple as that. (you can even use a PS3 or 360 controller - you can even use the Wii controller if you know how to do it) Though I would definitely want both consoles just because of some games, but I never got a 360 because I know plenty of people with one and can play it pretty much whenever I want. (all of them but my roommate who just got his a year ago have had an RROD) I've had my PS3 for less than a month and I've been doing tons of great shit with it like streaming videos from my PC onto my PS3 to watch (HD and non - I've got tons of movies and episodes of Mythbusters and some anime, hell I watched the TL vs SC2GG on my PS3). Can download or stream music from my PC on my PS3, can browse the internet and watch videos online or even check threads on TL.net withing having to go to my PC. PS3's online is completely free, with 360 you have to pay to play and with both you will have to pay for downloaded content or watching movies (which I'm not sure 360 has yet - PS3 has had it). PS3 you also don't have to buy extra shit. I didn't need to buy a wireless card for my PS3 its built in (my roommate can't even connect his 360 to the net because our router is nowhere near the TV - he has to cough up $100 for a 360 wireless card). Don't need to spend money on batteries or extra controllers, the PS3 controller charges at the PS3 and you can plug in PS2 controllers into the console if you have them with a simple usb adapter (which I had a 4 port usb adapter ahead of time from playing with a PS2 controller on my PC). Anyway, the coolest thing besides the games I got for it is definitely streaming HD movies from my PC onto my PS3. I just watching Casino Royale today and it was pimp.

As for Wii being a joke... Wii Music? LOL! Only decent thing it has is Smash Brothers Brawl, and seriously, that could have been a Gamecube game.
