Beautiful young women in Bermudas
zatic, Jul 30 2008
What the hell is wrong this Summer?
Normally I love Summer. I love warm wheather. I love how my workplace allows totally casual attire. I love that my female colleagues take advantage of that freedom and dress comfortably and summer-like. There is no denying that beautiful young women in Summer outfit can make every day a pleasent one.
Except this season. Who on earth told those girls to wear shorts? This robs me of an essential part of my Summer feeling.
Maybe other parts of the world are not plagued by the sight, so let me demonstrate: http://shop.orsay.com/cgi-bin/images/...d7d6ee0c0efca0b4e5d953f34a6_large.jpg http://shop.orsay.com/cgi-bin/images/...f3ab86c23a197653d31744d5b96_large.jpg
What ever happened to skirts? Miniskirts? Hotpants? Light cotton pants? All perfectly acceptable Summer clothing - comfortable, light and a pleasure to look at.
Last year saw the remergence of the mini-skirt here and that alone made for a beautiful Summer. This year already looks depressingly gloomy - and the grey and rainy Fall is yet to come.

[script] Jump to last response
zatic, Jul 05 2008
I didn't want to post this first because it is so simple, but I found that it is actually the most useful script I wrote for TL so far:
All it does is take you to the very last response on a thread when you click the ">" on the forum view.
How to install: - Get Firefox - Install the Greasemonkey extension: - Install this script: http://userscripts.org/scripts/source/23748.user.js
Cheers

iCCup.com directely link to gaming profile
zatic, Apr 10 2008
Hi guys,
here is a script that rewrites the links to player's profiles (for example on the TSL ladder page) to refer directly to gaming profile, not the personal profile.
Also it makes the game details page readable.
How to install: - Get Firefox - Install the Greasemonkey extension: - Install this script: http://userscripts.org/scripts/source/24991.user.js
Cheers.

Liquibet History Graph
zatic, Apr 02 2008
Hi guys,
A new userscript for the next Liquibet season:
This one will display a graph that shows your liquibet history compared to the best better's stats and the best possible Liquibet stats.

How to use this --------------- After you install the script, your liquibet stats page will look something like this: + Show Spoiler + The script does not show any graph yet because it doesn't have the past liquibet data. For next season, make sure you visit your liquibet stats page regularly, as the script can only then update the graph.
Installation procedure ---------------------- + Show Spoiler + - Use Firefox - Install the Greasemonkey extension: - Install this script: http://zatic.net/liquibetgraph.user.js - Important: As soon as the new season begins (meaning you have 0 points), go to Tools -> Greasemonkey -> Userscript commands -> Reset Liquibet Graph to clear last season's data.
Disclaimer: I developed this in between seasons so I couldn't really test it yet. Hopefully it will work from day 1 though :-)

Hide comments on Youtube (no spoilers anymore)
zatic, Feb 12 2008
Update: Doesn't work anymore with Youtube's new layout.
Maybe I'll update this in future though.
----
Update: I hacked up a new script based on this one that does a lot more to hide spoilers: http://teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=66446

Hi guys,
really small thing that's annoying as hell:
Whenever I am really looking forward to a game and take all precautions and avoid all possible spoilers on TL the first idiot on Youtube comments on the winner or something that totally spoils it.
Solution: - Use Firefox - Install the Greasemonkey extension: - Install this script: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/14530

New Audio Commentary Streaming Service (Beta)
zatic, Jan 17 2008
Hi TL,
I am using this blog to present you a project of mine: An audio commentary repository.
Two lines of background: I wanted to teach myself a number of new web application technologies. I am also a fan of English commentaries like Klaz, Diggity, and Moletrap do them. So I decided to set up a new site that hosts commentaries in a streamable fashion.
This service is better than YouTube and forums posts because it has: - No artificial limitation of video quality
- No annoying splitting of videos into 10-min-parts
- Searchable and browsable meta-data to commentaries like author, players, leagues from TLPD
Right now I have a working first beta version up and I invite you to check it out: http://audiocommentaries.net/acr/ The beta features Klaz' commentaries from last year as he was awesome enough to release them via bittorrent. But I really want to put up more over time if the service finds regular users.
You'll need a recent Flash player and a recent browser. I haven't had the resources to test this on Safari or IE < 7 so it may look completely weird there.
A couple of disclaimers: This is an educational project of mine, entirely funded by me. This means: The service will be absolutly free of charge If this turns out to kill my servers (highly likely :-), well, too bad: it'll go down. If this turns out to kill my budget, it'll go down, too.
So go check it out and feel free to give feedback on this blog. Let's see if my servers can handle it :-)
Cheers, zatic
If you want to help: + Show Spoiler + Awesome! If you can provide: - English commentaries to Korean progaming matches or
- Artwork (a banner / logo for example) or
- Servers / bandwidth (10 MBit+), esp. North-America
I'd love to have you on board (PM me). You can also always report bugs or simply make suggestions.
If you are interested in technical details: + Show Spoiler + I used this to get to know the Seam application framework and the latest Flash streaming technology. The major components of this application are implemented using bleeding edge technology that isn't even a month old. If you want to know more, https://anosec.net/projects/acrhosts all the project's details, including source code.
if you are staff and outraged by the use of TLPD content without asking: + Show Spoiler + C'mon. I just want to give sth to the community. Anyway, send me a PM and I'll take it down.
