Hey
I wanted to try Warcraft 3 again. I've played a fair bit 10 years ago, but never actually completed it. I have a vacation, so now is the time. I will not be playing Reforged version, as it is not what I remember, and I heard nothing good about it.
I downloaded Warcraft 3 Reign of Chaos via my battlenet account, which has the game. I also have Frozen Throne on there, but nothing happens when I download it. The campaign does not show up when I open WC3. I can only see the prologue campaign and the human campaign.

Unless I misunderstood you, there doesn't seem to be a problem? You are supposed to only see the prologue and the human campaign. The other campaigns show up when you complete the prerequisite campaign. Also, I am not sure how you managed to install only RoC. When I downloaded the WC3 client from my battle.net account, battle.net launcher opened and automatically updated it to Reforged client even though I didn't own Reforged. So if your WC3 installation is about 30 GB, there is no problem. Both RoC and TFT content is installed and ready to go.

What Spartak said
There doesnt seem to be any issues with the post, when you first open WC3, it only presented you with the prologue + human campaign, like good ole times you need to finish these in order to unlock the other ones

Disclaimer: I haven't played it with the new battle.net or past reforged.
But to clarify what the others meant: Unless they changed it with reforged, TFT and ROC have different launchers. If you start ROC you only see ROC campaigns. To play TFT content you need to start TFT.

Yeah, that was changed. Unless you are playing with a pirated copy or installing with your original CDs, you don't have separate RoC and TFT launchers anymore. They are all merged into one client. That means you can't start a TFT campaign without completing RoC campaigns first. Although there is a workaround if you use cheats and follow the steps in this article: https://www.ign.com/wikis/warcraft-3/How_to_Unlock_The_Frozen_Throne_Expansion
